This is a little longer than the one it is replacing, even though the numbers are matching. We worked with the receptacle and more-or-less forced the bulb in. The cover is not as snug as it should be, but it works.

did not fit my light. although the original bulbs and light lasted 20 years..I LOVE MY LIGHT..NOW I JUST NEED TO GET A SCRIPT AND A NEW LIGHT.

This is NOT a bulb to replace bulbs for the Northern Light 10,000 Lux Bright Light Therapy Desk Lamp, Beige. Amazon makes like it is but is is about 4 inches short and the poles do not line up. What a drag.
