Linguists contend that to be coarse is to be brutish or unrefined. Wine snobs might doubt a Dijon without a dry white. To both, we say, baloney. Sure, our mustard is good and grainy. And we don't miss the vino in our amazing recipe (partly because we're drinking it from a glass). We figure we'll bring the purists along when they taste it in a deviled egg. Or with a charcuterie board. Or, on baloney.

A Tasty Coarse Dijon Mustard With Less Bad Stuff And More Healthier Ingredients!
# My ReviewThis review is for Noble Made by The New Primal Coarse Dijon Mustard. As someone who’s an avid food fan, this recommendation was a great find! I like trying different varieties of condiments that are either natural, organic and/or health conscious, so I was curious to see how this product was going to taste! I’m always trying new varieties that are readily available from the condiment’s aisle at the local grocery store. That said, when I saw this offering and the way in which it was positioned, I just knew it was worth a try.First of all, I can’t say enough good things about how this product is packaged and delivered to survive the transit and delivery. A+ is what I’d give it! The jars are packaged in the usual Amazon cardboard box, which contains a stronger cardboard box with packing air bags, and within the inner box, a cardboard frame to hold the jars in place! Genius packaging, it’ll be hard for the glass jar to break in transit. Packaging aside, the mustard comes packaged in 2 – 8.5 oz. jar that’s on point with the its design and branding. The description, labeling and nutritional contents are well defined, clearly detailing no white wine content, nutritional content and natural ingredients. This coarse grain mustard can be used in a number of different ways which delivers a bold flavor profile. The mustard is rich, thick, and strong – there’s a nice crunchy texture with the grains blending in nicely! What puts this in a different league to its competition is that this is a healthier option that’s whole30 approved, paleo, and gluten free. Also, looking at the ingredients, I can recognize all of them – there’s nothing listed that leaves you scratching your head. So far, I’ve used this on sandwiches, burgers, and dips, and it tasted really good – as with any mustard, a little goes a long way.Bottom line, this is a very nice coarse grain mustard. If you’re looking to be a little healthier, then this is the option for you! I like the taste / flavor profile, it’s made of good quality ingredients. The packaging and delivery is superior. I highly recommend.** Thanks for reading my review! Slightly Thinner In Consistency And Not As Strong In Bite/Kick Great For Cooking
Review of Noble Made by The New Primal, Coarse Dijon Mustard, Whole30 Approved, Certified Gluten Free, Sugar Free, Paleo, Keto, Vegan, Made without Wine, Pantry Staple, 8.5 Fl. Ounce Glass Jar (2 Count) sold by AmazonReceived with a Best By date approximately 21 months from date of delivery. This comes in glass jars which I have begun to prefer although that means that one cannot squeeze out the contents so the user will need a knife, spoon, etc., to dispense.First thing that I noted before opening was that this seemed to be a bit thin in consistency (less viscous) and I confirmed this when opening. After refrigeration the consistency has thickened although it will thin out as it warms. The thinness was not watery though so seems suitable for a dip or to be used in a dip. When used for cooking purposes being slightly thinner is a convenience when measuring. Since this is not watery I did not find that this was rapidly absorbed into bread which might lead to some dripping depending upon how much is applied. The taste was fine although it seemed to have a slightly less amount of bite or perhaps kick than expected or what I am used to.I like and prefer coarse ground mustards although I am not sure how much of this is simply due to the physical appearance.

Very watery
This is strangely watery and vinegary mustard. It has a strange texture too. I like whole coarse mustards, but not this one.

Primal is really Kraft Hines
It's one thing to buy out a company, it's another when your website makes no mention of it, while pretending like it's the original company... keeping the "about us" unchanged. If I had known the true owner, I would have never purchased even one of their products. Of course, they know that fraudulent misrepresentation is the only way they deceive people like myself, who would never knowingly ingest a Kraft Heinz product, into purchasing it.

Pricey But Versatile
I have so many ideas for what to use this on - chicken, charcuterie board, pretzels and more. So far I have used on a sandwich with salami and it was amazing. It is flavored like you'd expect but not tart. Easy to spread and a little goes a long way. Make sure to mix it or shake it up. You get two jars but they are smaller sized.
