Power Acoustik MID-65 6.5-Inch 300-Watt Midrange/Bass Driver

These are excellent speakers, here is how I have them hooked up1000w Hifonics amp, dual channeleach channel can be set to high or low pass, as well as gain and freq adjustmentsI have 2 of these with 2 component speakers on one channel of the amp (500w) which will soon be 4 total of these on 500wThe other channel I have 4 Pyle Pro 3.25" tweetersOne side of the amp is set to only pass on low frequencies, and I try to feed these in the lower end of the spectrum to get more clean punch, rather than trying to feed them all the higher range of mids and making them muddy, then I have my tweeters set to do the same but with high frequencies, lastly I have 2 4x10s and those are component speakers and serve to fill in the middle (they don't add much, really)Great speakers, but they will need an amp and some adjustment to get your best results.I also run these with foam baffles in my front doors, and have dynamat installed in all 4 doors1996 suburban LT

Don't buy these speakers for the grilles. They are a joke. But for a one way 6.5" mid bass speaker they outperform their price.
