HarperCollins Chronicles Of Ixia 6 Book Set: Poison Study / Magic Study / Fire Study / Shadow Study / Night Study / Dawn Study

These novels are great, unfortunately I bought this set as a gift which wasn’t opened until after the returns period had expired, so it wasn’t discovered that the first book was badly damaged (cover and pages torn) until it was too late. Without the damage, would have been a five star review. As it stands I have had to buy the first book again, so the set doesn’t match perfectly and it’s cost more than I’d budgeted.

I had these books before and loved them, was glad to buy them in the pack, I hope she will bring more of the same story but maybe time for his story instead. Great storyline, each books merge into the next to continue the story. Read the set in 5 days, but was worth the time to read them again.

I bought these for my partner for her birthday she has only read the first one and has enjoyed them, everything is very good quality only issue I’ve had is once you’ve taken a book out the case it’s very hard to make them all fit again

Un coffret réunissant la première et la troisième trilogie des Chronicles of Ixia. Le nom du coffret en lui-même est donc incorrect, cependant la description précise bien qu'il y a 6 livres (je me demande donc pourquoi certains commentaires critiquent le fait qu'il ne s'agisse pas de la série complète des 9 livres). The Chronicles of Ixia sont composées de 3 trilogies: Poison Study (Poison Study, Magic Study, Fire Study), Glass (Storm Glass, Sea Glass, Spy Glass) et Soulfinders (Shadow Study, Night Study, Dawn Study). Poison Study et Soulfinders sont les deux "Studies" trilogies, avec Yelena et Valek en personnages principaux. Le coffret devrait donc plutôt s'appeler "The Studies series", car pour comprendre la deuxième trilogie, il faut avoir lu la trilogie Glass, qui m'avait personnellement déçue donc je suis heureuse d'avoir pu m'offrir les deux trilogies que j'aime à un prix attractif.

I love the characters. I loved the Healer series and moved on the the Study series. I did read the Glass series after I read the first three Study books. The first three Study books were outstanding, but I did not enjoy the second three books as much. Having three protagonists really changed it for me, I felt more "disconnected" from the characters and I thought it weakened the story line.
