RASH only with this Baking Soda Version
I've purchased Smarty Pants deodorant religiously over the past few months, but I usually select the baking soda free option. Somehow (probably because the labeling is so similar) I accidentally bought this version, and my armpits developed the worst rash I've ever experienced! My skin is extremely sensitive, but luckily with shea butter and extreme exfoliation, I was able to get them looking back to normal within a week.Smarty Pants - I beg you, please label your deodorants with baking soda more clearly!

Well worth the price.
For (SmartyPits - Natural/Aluminum-Free Deodorant (with baking soda) 2.9oz (Baby Powder) After one whole month I am impressed by this deodorant. No itching, no discoloration, no rash. It's strictly the aluminum that causes me serious issues. The baking soda did me no damage. The aroma is gentle and I smell good all day long and even when I apply it at night I still smell good in the morning. I might sweat, but I don't smell like wet dog anymore. I don't get painful ingrown hairs either. This is a little sticky when applying. I put a dusting of powder on after rubbing on the deodorant and that takes care of the problem. No discoloration on my nice shirts, even after laundering. I still have a generous amount of the tube left. I anticipate this will last about 2 months for my average once daily use. Aside from the "sticky" issue this is almost a perfect replacement for Secret's baby powder deodorant.

Like applying an expensive glue stick to your underarms
I wanted to like this product, I do like the scent (Sweet Orange & Bergamot) but I have two issues: First the scent is nice but it's so subtle that it may as well be unscented. It really needs to be a stronger scent. Second is that the stuff feels absolutely like applying a big glue stick to my underarms- it yanks my underarm hair out by the roots and I have to pick them off the product before I can recap it. It's kind of painful to use, and kind of irritating to have to clean up the hair on it every time I use it. Combine these two issues with the really exorbitant price and you've got a product I won't be buying again.

My new favorite deodorant!
This stuff is fantastic and the coconut mango smells wonderful, even 24 hours later! No BO! I had been using "Hug me" by Blume which is unscented and works well but the texture is so rough that it hurts, would not recommend. I'm very happy to have found this which has passed my partner's "sniff test" 24 hours after application. He isn't the biggest fan of my love of natural products, very skeptical, but he is going to ditch his store-bought deodorant and give this a try, that means it works! I'll update if I notice any negative side effects like other users did.Update: Coconut mango and tweed & spice (more of a masculine scent) are the best scents imo. Eucalyptus Spearmint is the worst, I do not recommend it.I've decided this deodorant isn't good for super active days/people and you do need to exfoliate sometimes if you put too much on as it doesn't wash off easily. Partner has decided to go back to "regular" deodorant and my rating is lower after using it for a while. The search for the perfect deodorant continues...

USED to work but STOPPED after 1.5 years!
So I LOVED this product SO MUCH.... BUT it stopped working!!! I first bought it in Feb. 2019 and I’m writing this review in July of 2020. I’m a nurse. I work 12-hour shifts. I CAN’T stink!!!! LOL But this stuff 100% stopped working for me. I am so very sad. Coconut mango is my favorite scent and I just bought a 2-pack of it recently... :( I have moved on to Native deodorant and if works like a charm. Schmidt’s scorched my armpits. I’ve read that, of course, we all have different chemical makeups and it’s just trial and error with deodorants that are free of aluminum. You just have to find which one works for you... some have pre- and probiotics in them that help people. Some people can’t tolerate the baking soda in them and it will turn their armpits dark. It’s crazy... But I’ve never had a deodorant stop working for me. I guess it’s a thing tho. I’m proof. LOL
