NYC SterlingChain Necklace 3MM Sterling Silver .925 Curb Link For Men And Women, Made In Italy

Writing this review because I realized I’ve had this chain for 3+ years and it’s held up amazing. I wear it every single day and rarely take it off. It’s withstood sweating, swimming, and countless showers. My friends have borrowed it, my girlfriend loves it, and it goes with every outfit. It’s still shiny and looks brand new and I continue to get compliments on it. Thank you for such a great product and it’s a bargain for how long it’s lasted!!

This chain was very nice. Loved the length and look of it. Unfortunately the clasp was too large for my pendant so I chose to return it and get a smaller mm chain.

First, let me start of by saying that for jewelry that I intend to wear everyday, I prefer gold. At the same time I ordered this necklace, I also ordered a 14K white fold (2.5mm) version of this necklace (Cuban link style), 16 inches, for everyday wear. I couldn't get over the price tag of this item, and I thought I could wear it for beach outings and other events where, if I lost it, I wouldn't be set back hundreds of dollars. Anyhow, the 14k version arrived the same day at this necklace (in sterling silver) and I could NOT TELL the DIFFERENCE. My Mother has a much more discriminating palette when it comes to jewelry and even she could not tell the difference. She thought the silver necklace was the gold one- and vice versa! I will say that the silver was a tiny bit shinier than the gold, but time will probably even that out. I intended on keeping the gold necklace and this one, but after my Mom's suggestion, I ended up returning the white gold necklace and keeping this one. You honestly cannot tell the difference- the size is 3mm instead of the 2.5mm in gold that I purchased (and the silver necklace may be just a tad bit lighter, but not that noticeable), and the price difference is about $150. I'm so thrilled with this necklace and it looks amazing. Generally, I think you get what you pay for when it comes to sterling silver but in this instance, you are getting much much more than the price tag. I am beyond thrilled with this purchase.

Pros:Genuine 925 sterling silverThe "links", although small, are still big enough to be visibly "links" and not to be confused with a "rope" like necklace.Due to the 3mm length of the necklace, almost any pendant can be worn with the necklace.The necklace is very durable, and due to the small size scratches don't show very easily.Shipped fast, even though I choose the cheapest option because I'm patient, the item arrived 3 days later.Length is perfect for me, not small enough to be a "choker" but not too large to be an annoyance or "in your face."Cons:This is 18" so if you want something longer this isn't for you.3mm width is also very small, however, if you enjoy a more "discreet" look this is it for you.The necklace doesn't stay flat on your neck, but this is due to natural head movement. Problem is easily solved with a bigger "links."Very easy to misplace or lose track of, I'd highly recommend you keep the included box and store it in there when done with wearing needs.8/10. Although I did list some cons, they're something to be expected due to the width and length of the necklace. They're not "deal breakers" but they are small annoyances that you have to put up with. Other than that this necklace is a nice "piece." It's not flashy, has a good discreet feeling, and overall doesn't hurt your wallet all that much.

Was hesitant about this based on the price point. Very pleasantly surprised. After inspecting it I am confident that it is REAL sterling silver. Great build quality, really shiny, high quality clasp system.

I have bought all kinds of jewelry over the last 20 years and especially chains. This silver chain is made in Italy, which in of itself has an excellent reputation for sourcing fine jewelry. I love the pattern of the chain and it was finished/polished to a very sparkly sheen. Overall, excellent price for the value!

Not bad. Not great. Mmmmmm not really good. Maybe more like just ok. Flimsy but passable as a good looking piece.

The chain is very nice, feels 100% to be the quality they claim it to be. Only thing to be mindful of is being a thin chain you can easily break it if you accidentally pull it too hard. I broke a link near the loop end of the clasp but luckily you can directly hook the clasp to the end link of where it breaks.

The necklace itself is fine but the description said it would come in a blue or black velvet pouch for giving as a gift. It came in a plastic bag. Why promise a velvet pouch and then not send one?
