TYTX Compatible with MacBook Air Leather Case with Vents and Stand Function 13 Inch 2021 2020 2019 2018 (A2337 A2179 A1932) (Green)

The major pro of this case (and the reason I gave it four stars) is that it wraps around the bottom of the laptop so it protects your wrists against the sharp edge. Note that the wrap around part extends about an inch and a half from the mousepad, not all the way to the corners. I have small hands and wrists, and the way I type the inside part of each hand extends over the mousepad. But if you have larger wrists you will not be entirely protected. Two MAJOR flaws: First, it's very difficult to put it on the computer, even following the instructions. The top tabs are so stiff that I was worried I would break the laptop putting it in. I had a case for my previous laptop that was similar in design but the top tabs were stretchy so it fit in easily (and the laptop stayed in just as well). Second, NO WAY this is real leather. I have no problem with "pleather" or "vegan leather" as it's now been rebranded, but they shouldn't sell something as leather when it's not.

Today, I was surprised to find the screen of my Macbook Air illuminated even while the case was closed. It is true what others have said: the case does not allow your computer to close fully. Furthermore, this thick case adds a substantial amount of bulk and weight to an MBA, which negates some of the advantages of having an MBA in the first place. Finally, if you use the trackpad often (I do, for iMovie editing), you will find that the thickness of the pleather around the trackpad may create discomfort, specifically with regard to thumb placement. I agree with another reviewer who remarked that this case is great in conception but not so much in execution. If you are okay with attaching your own closure device (like gluing on a velcro strap) and increasing the size and weight of your computer, and if you don't use the trackpad much, then you may find this case meets your needs. One thing that can be said for it is that it is at least attractive.

This is easily the best case going for hood protection, making it easy to open Mac& not cold to the touch like others. Those who complain about it being hard to put on... well common sense was enough to show me how to do that. Gently of course/ if you have a $1,000.00 computer there’s no other way. It only fits in one manner. And as for the ‘gap’ that certain folks claim- that gap isn’t even enough to keep the Mac awake- and it certainly doesn’t make it less protective. The thickness of the case is needed to protect from drops. If you want an industrial type case to use in construction sites or are heavy handed with a $1,000+ piece of tech, then you have other issues which this case isn’t designed to solve. So know what you want before you order. This case is awesome.

Great product. Fits just right. I only have two suggestions to make it perfect: 1) I wish it had some kind of strap to keep the laptop closed, 2) the stand function doesn't work very well. So the strap of some kind would keep the laptop closed and in sleep mode thus preserving battery power. And the "stand function" uses velcro to put the "stand function" in place but the velcro used is very weak so the footings slip and come undone constantly. I would love to use this feature (it's one of the main reasons I chose this cover), but now I just don't use it. If there was some way to keep the laptop completely closed when not in use, and the "stand function" actually held in place, then this would be a 5 star product.

This thing fits like a glove...snug. Because of other reviews that said there was space, I got a hard cover to put on my computer and then tried to put this on. No way. Too tight. Once I took the cover off this fit PERFECTLY.My ONE complaint...like a couple other reviews have stated...the cover of the computer closes and it shuts off BUT not by much. I formed a sticky back Velcro strip on the case to hold it firmly closed. And it’s ABSOLUTELY what I was hoping for.

This case is amazing! I originally ordered a different case but they sent the wrong one and refused to work with me on returning their error so I ordered this one. I have had a hard shell case on it and this blue case which is far superior. It feels nice in the hand. It has a soft leather feel and fits great. It is tight putting it on but fits beautifully. You can’t go wrong with this case.

I liked this case. It’s nice and looks very professional; however, I will be returning this case because the gap when closing my laptop is too big, and not worth risking damage to my screen. Gave it 2 stars because of appearance.

Just perfect! High quality, functionality, and durability. The blue grey is very nice. Much better then the styles with the magnetic clasp that just gets in the way…. and even has vents which are perfectly lined up. Great product!!!!!!

I like the colour, the quality was as expected, artificial 'leather' of a decent quality and decent fit. I wanted the Anker to fit when in use and the same time a cover that offered some protection, especially as the airbook is so slim and slippery. Now I feel it is much safer at a minimal cost compared to some other options.

Thought this was perfect on paper. However, it didn’t fit my new Mac air!You got one of the little tabs on with a struggle then no chance getting the other one on. It actually damaged my laptop trying to get the tab over the laptop. Fuming! Thought from the review it will be ideal! What a poor product with so much potential.I will return immediately.

Excellent quality leather protection, fits perfectly and feels really nice, definitely recommended.
