That it's too small for my hand is okay, that C-Net advertised it as a budget gaming mouse isn't. Sometimes, I need to shift over one or two pixels in order to click a small target, it's a bit of a chore with this mouse. I like how it looks, that it lights up helps me to see my desk in the wee hours, so that's nice.Otherwise: easy to install, solid chassis over-all.

For the price, this mouse performs admirably. I attached it to a MacBook Pro, and it does exactly what you want it to do: click easily, give an option (command click), and scroll. I prefer mice with cords as opposed to blue tooth--less things to get wrong.I use the scroll less than most, so cannot give exact feedback about scroll rate; I can only say that it is a nice added feature.Have not needed a mouse pad with the optics. Have not needed a different surface other than various tables (mostly wood), so it's nice that the grain does not affect the optics of the mouse.Missing star? In the package, the connection of the wire to the top of the mouse was bent and showed a small amount on fraying. This was a problem with the packaging of the mouse (not Amazon's packaging)--the cord was wound too tight to the back of the plastic bubble and caused stress at that point. Has no bearing on usage at this point, though may int eh future. If there's a spot where the mouse is going to break, I suspect it will be at that point.

The clicking sound is a lot louder than other mouse. I do like the blue light.

This is a very normaly mouse. Looks very nice, but it still not good.

I love this mouse a lot so far! Very simple and easy to use (plug it in and it's ready). I like the size and specifications and the feel. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the cord is WAY too short for my setup. 1 more foot of cord would have been a 5 star mouse. I have to remember not to tug on it :/

Didn't last me even a week.

This mouse is not very ergonomic; a bit too small for comfort. Worked fine for almost one year, then the scroll wheel started acting funny. It sometimes scrolls up instead of down; sometimes not at all.

I love this mouse! Small enough but not too small to be comfortably, fits well in my hand. I had bought a typical usb optical mouse from Best Buy (they only had one type of wired mouse that was available to be bought separately from a computer), and after several minutes of using it, my hand hurt as it was too big. This one is great! It's also more responsive and faster, worked it immediately as soon as I plugged it in. I'm not a gamer, so that aspect I cannot comment on, but everyday simple computer use it works perfectly well. I love the lights too.
