Magnetic Car Mount for iPhone 12 13 Series - No Plates Need, Adjustable Adhesive Phone Mount Holder for Dashboard, Phone Holder Compatible with Magsafe Car Mount

Needs a much stronger magnet in order to be truly secure for holding such a large phone as the iPhone 12 Pro Max. If I hit a bump in the road or try to plug a charger into the bottom of my phone, it falls immediately which is pretty annoying.After about a month of use, it already has fallen apart and is useless. Save your money. This is cheap garbage that won't last.

Got my magnet mount in the mail today. The magnet is very powerful and securely holds my iPhone Max in place. It also comes with a small metal ring which you can place on any older generation iPhone which doesn’t have mag safe built in. For instance, my wife’s phone is the iPhone 12 with MagSafe, but I have iPhone 11 ProMax. I put the small metal ring on the back of my case and the mount works great.Some other reviews I’ve read have talked about the adhesion failing in hot cars. The temperature is forecasted to be well over 90 degrees here over the next few days. I’ll update this review with how it performs in the heat.UPDATE:The mounts have been in our cars for a week during a good amount of heat and no issues with the adhesion. Both mounts are stuck to the dash perfectly. I’m satisfied with my purchase.UPDATE 2:The mounts have been in our cars for several months now. The adhesion on one of the mounts has failed, fell off a few times, and won’t stick to the dash any longer. If they can improve the sticking power of the adhesion the product would be 5 stars, but for now I’ll have to lower to 3 since I’m going to have to figure out some other method to stick it to the dash now.

This is made very well and I love that I can add the apple MagSafe charger on top of this with my iPhone. I’m having a USB-c port installed in my Toyota RAV4 because this mount is so awesome. HIGHLY recommend and it is a strong magnet.

Was hoping to use this magnetic head attachment on a standard (either 1" or 22mm) ball mount. Unfortunately that spec was not available on the product page at the time I ordered. Turns out the magnetic head actually mounts to a non-standard 16.8mm ball. Hopefully this helps others interested in doing the same. I did not install it but it does otherwise seem like a fine mounting option if you intend to use the supplied ball.

The only problem with this product is that the magnet isn’t strong enough to hold the phone. My phone continually drops out of the floor of my car. I have a very light case on my phone. So it should adhere well. It does not.

It held the device very well and I didn't have any problems with the use

Mine is a daily driver for which this is used about 10-12 hours per week. The adhesive is very strong and the magnet works as expected. Works great on my iPhone 13 Pro Max!

Magnetic holder is absolutely not strong enough for an iPhone 12 in a case. The only way it would hold my phone was to strip it out of its protective case. Totally not impressed. Decided to return it.
