I used these strainers as recommended by a You Tube video that demonstrated how to render beef tallow. It worked great for straining the chunks out of the tallow after it had been melted down.

I bought these for the unusual purpose of brewing group coffee in the backcountry. They worked great for this purpose, prevented us from having to drink cowboy coffee, and made clean up a breeze. Took two bags and would alternate daily. Highly recommend, if for some reason, you too, wish to take the unbeaten path- and want some coffee to kick start everyone's day!

I’m using for dying. That said the mouth of the bag is kind of small. Too small to stretch over the Containers that I want to use. I don’t think they would stretch over a 1 gallon paint can.

I use these strainers in my swimming pool skimmer. I’m sure it extends the life of your impeller and keeps your filter clean.

These are great! They allowed my milkweed to recover after being eaten down to bare sticks by my “hungry herd” of monarch caterpillars. The plants could recover without having fresh eggs laid on them by a passing mama monarch., and still were able to get all thei air, sunshine, and rain they needed. These were recommended to me in an online monarch butterfly group. The 1 gal. bags were perfect for my smallest one pants and the 5 gal. for the larger.Love the elastic around the opening.
