We live next to our daughter & with 4 sons & 2 grandsons, they're constantly over, drinking Gatorade over the summer! So I started mixing my own due to cost. I started out using plastic bottles but never felt like they got really clean, so bought these. They're a perfect size, & I can put them in the dishwasher to sanitize them. They're easy to hold, well made, sturdy (I dropped one & it didn't break), and the lids fit tightly. Don't know if I'll ever use the caps w holes for straws, but I kept them anyway. Would definitely recommend!

I am so glad I found these bottles on Amazon. One of the best purchases I've made all year. For years I have been using plastic bottles to make a morning tonic. After awhile, the plastic looks dirty. I also make fresh celery juice and use these bottles for that as well. After reusing the lids over and over, they do begin to get a little rusty, but the good thing is that these lids are the very same size as most lids on glassed bottled juice that you buy in the grocery stores. So I just save those lids to have on hand. I do wish they had a better lid system because these are screwed on with a half turn, so I have to be careful to get it on there right because I have to shake up the contents. Overall, yes, I gave this 5 stars because I love them and use them everyday.

Husband bought this to limit the amount of coffee he's drinking as he stores his cold brew in these. They work well. I will note the glass seems thinner and easily breakable, but we have yet to break one. The tops due rust easily so don't run them through the dishwasher and make sure they dry well.

The media could not be loaded. I bought these glasses for my fresh juices. They were a great price for 12 bottle, best deal I could find. Great quality! After using I rinse, throw in the dishwasher and hand wash the lids. Will be buying more.

I bought these glass bottles to store batches of homemade smoothies in the fridge. The reason I chose these in particular was not just the size and it being made from glass instead of plastic, but also because the caps are metal. I just feel that metal caps will be more durable in the long run.I noticed several reviewers complaining about how these bottles broke after putting them in the freezer. Keep in mind that these bottles are not made from tempered or borosilicate glass. So if you intend to put these in the freezer (which you absolutely can) you'll need to ensure that you don't fill the bottles to the brim.When liquid freezes, it expands, and if there's no room inside the bottle it WILL cause the glass to crack. An inch of room inside the bottle should be enough. It's also not a good idea to thaw un-tempered glass too rapidly either as this could also cause glass to break.If you are looking for glass bottles to store in the freezer on a regular basis, then I would definitely suggest borosilicate glass or any other type of tempered glass. Not these. These will work in the freezer, and are considered freezer safe, but I wouldn't say these are freezer recommended. I personally use these in the fridge only, and have had no issues whatsoever.

I selected these bottles specifically because the picture shows 'freezer safe' as one of the perks. So I tested them. Knowing, as most people do, that I had to leave room for expansion, I filled the bottle approximately 2/3 full. It burst. Freezing was a key selling point for me. However, I decided to keep them, and I've found other uses. They are a nice size, and I do like that they came with 12 closed lids and 12 lids with straw openings. I have noticed that the plastic insert in the straw hole comes out easily. I keep an eye on them so I don't lose them, particularly while washing.Update: First, I had to toss all the little plastic inserts on the straw holes. They collect the liquid (anything other than water), and if not washed right away, they quickly mildew. Second, the caps rust horribly up and under the rim. Not just the 'sides' of the inner lid, but up and into the little ridge where the cap rim folds upward. Unfortunately, it's not necessarily visible, and just today I discovered it by firmly pressing a wet paper towel against the inner rim of the lid. Rust, rust and more rust. I am now on the hunt for plastic lids that fit these 12oz bottles.

I'm really into juicing but it's but due to my work schedule it became exhausting to take time to juice everyday (especially with washing the machine).I had a friend suggest that I buy some bottles make the juice weekly or whatever frequency I wanted so I purchased these bottles they have been really helpful because now I just store my juice in the fridge and it's a quick grab and go.My only critique is that the bottles aren't completely leak poof don't get me wrong they definitely do their job if you're storing noncarbonated beverages then chance of leakage is next to none but if you're storing anything carbonated and it accidentally gets shaken and the liquid is near the top it will seep out just a little bit (so it's not massive leak potential). Since I don't usually make carbonated drinks it's been fine and I've been able to store it in my bag without issues.

Compré estas botellas hace unos meses para envasar kombucha casera. La función de sello de las tapaderas comenzó a perderse a las semanas. Después, poco a poco comenzaron a oxidarse por dentro. Aparte que el vidrio no tiene mucho grosor; se sienten frágiles. La verdad recomiendo evitar el producto, a no ser que de plano no se tenga alternativa.
