I desperately needed to find something to help me get my tailbone and sit bones up off my wheelchair seat and my walker seat. I have a bilaterally pinched L5 Nerve root, cervical radiculopathy, spondilitis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis, a bad right hip & to top it off I need double total knee replacements. I've been bedridden for 2 years so my backside is jelly, no muscle. That's where I've lost all of my 75 lbs too so you can feel my bones right at the surface! It hurts to even sit up on my bed if I sink to deep on the bed it starts hurting so bad. I bought at least 16 different donut seats and coccyx seat cushions and nothing helped. I saw this one & thought why not! It worked! It works on my walker, on my wheelchair, and in the car on long rides. It even worked on one if the Wal-Mart buggies I had to ride around on! I absolutely love my "rubber bootie buddy" is what I call it! Thank you so much! It's eased some of my tremendous pain.

I suffer from neck pain and sciatica whenever I drive for more than an hour. I got this to hopefully help prevent pain for my road trips to come. So far I have tested it for a 2 month, and I can say that this BackJoy definitely does "something." It does not completely adjust my back in a way that allow me to sit for hours, but when used together with an extra lumbar pillow and correct seat adjustment, it's a lot better than before for sure. I found that you have to fiddle with the position of the BackJoy until you find the right position. It also depend on the design of the existing seat or chair. The BackJoy basically lifts your back slightly highly. One slight problem I had with my car was that even with the seat at the lowest position, my hair is touching the ceiling when sitting upright with BackJoy; I have a smaller car. I found that in order to put yourself in the most ideal posture, you do have to add another lumbar pillow and/or neck pillow in combination. Overall, I am happy with the purchase, and I hope that BackJoy will continue to innovate new and working products!

My mom is on the heavier side and has been suffering from coccyx pain for some months now especially when sitting for long periods of time. I bought Backjoy sitzright seat wedge. It is very useful and she feels a difference since the tail bone is not getting compressed and the seat is comfortable to sit for longer duration.
