We love the width of the head - great for the surfaces we're working with
The large head on this thing is amazing. We're doing timber frame and welding in the field, and this is the ticket. The smaller combination squares are often too small to register on the uneven surfaces we work with. This one is great. A couple of recommendations to the maker: 1) Lower the spring tension on the lock post; 2) Make one with a larger blade. It needs to be a little wider and maybe double as thick to match the size of the head. We would buy some with 18" blades also, if they were available.Price is a little high, but it has been worth it in the end.

Great for marking steel tubes
I use this square daily doing metal fabrication and machining. It’s the perfect tool for doing layout on tubing or any material that has a radius corner. I really like the fact I can easily mark a corner accurately on two sides of a square or rectangular piece. If you’ve ever had to layout a straight cut on a 4”x4” square tubing, accurately transferring your square mark from one face to the next can be a little tricky and with this wide base you can easily make a clean accurate mark to start your next straight line. My only complaint is the blade movement is not as tight and smooth as a more expensive square like a Starrett but it’s still really nice. I’m sure to have all the tolerances as tight as a Starrett plus the extra wide base the cost to make them would be outrageous. Definitely a tool worth owning.

Great tool
This is my second of these squares. They're really useful, but the nut assembly is designed to break before the square if you drop it. The LaSquare company customer service is non-existent, so ordering a replacement has been impossible for me. I advise you to treat it greater than normal care, like your precision tools.

Bow in blade.
Seems nicely made, makes me not want to take it to work. Though the blade is bowed straight out of the box, which I find disappointing. Don’t feel like sending it back, going to try to contact the manufacturer about replacement of just the blade.

Great
I don't need to use it often but when I do I glad I have it. (Cost much less than Woodpeckers product) No red bling but a high quality product.

Kind of spendy but well worth it!
This is one of those tools I have put off for a long time. I saw it on weldingtipsandtricks.com YouTube channel about 5 years ago. Works great for heavy wall square tubing that have large radius corners.

Good for big radius tubing
The body is nice and machined from a casting but the blade it comes with is junk sheared ends and to shinny for a well lit shop or use outside. Overall it’s a tool you will need for laying out large tubing with a big radius. Price is high in my opinion for what your getting.
