Dust Box Bin Door for Irobot Roomba 800 900 Series 805 880 890 891 894 Vaccum Cleaner Accessories

I’m always a little hesitant to buy aftermarket parts, but this one fit great, and our robot vacuum cleaner works again!

This replacement door is a bit tight to open or close (and 'lock') but works well in my 800 series. The original door 'clip' (that holds the door closed) eventually snapped. -- The same thing happened on my *other* 800 series... but I replaced *that* with a new door purchased directly from iRobot. ... Unfortunately, like so many other parts, iRobot stopped selling it!!! (Amazon [fka, iRobot], please take note!!!!.... I will not buy a replacement machine from you that costs several hundred dollars just because you stop selling replacement parts for my current unit. If necessary, I will buy a competitor's product! ... but I will NOT spend that kind of money with iRobot/Amazon just because you refuse to sell replacement parts! Note: I currently own 5 iRobot units [Roombas and Braava Jets]... So, I am not just being cheap when I say that I buy replacement iRobot units simply because of small broken pieces of plastic! I will however give you a reasonable amount for replacement parts that clearly *may* 'breakdown' through the course of use! -- Although, this 'door' should never have broken... certainly not twice!)

I realized that I was this dust bin door long after I had accidentally threw it away when I emptied the bin. I looked frantically online to replace it thinking my days with my Roomba was over. I was so excited when I found this on Amazon! It fits perfectly and now I am more attentive when emptying the bin.

Simple - didn’t fit our Roomba 900. Too small and broke immediately. Waste of money!

The dust bin door fits perfectly on my iRobot Roomba 960. Now the Roomba works properly again. It was quick and simple to install. The most important thing is that it fits, which is something you are not always sure of when the item is not from the manufacturer. I do think the price was a bit much for a plastic part, but I saved a lot of money not having to purchase the whole dust bin from the manufacturer. I am very happy with my purchase.

It is a little overpriced in my opinion for one piece of plastic, but works fine. I have a roomba 960 where for some reason the piece broke off and it is a suitable replacement. However, for some reason affects the “empty bin” sensor and it won’t go off. Other than that it works well for it’s purpose.

Por algún descuido perdí la puertecita de la caja de polvo del depósito y me dí cuenta porque el robot iba dejando la pelusa que recogía. Así que tras buscarla en internet, me decidí por este recambio no original. Acopla perfectamente, pero el precio es carísimo para lo que es (un trozo de plástico de nada) (por eso le quito una estrella) y además la Roomba detecta de alguna forma que no es original, porque marca el depósito lleno aunque esté vacio (por éso lo quito otra estrella).Pero bueno, lo necesitaba y gracias a este repuesto mi Roomba funciona perfectamente.
