It works but is not perfect. (iPhone 6 Plus)
This was my first time replacing a screen. Overall an easy task. Instructions are decent. Tools at first glance looked like quality tools that you could use over and over again. This is where I had issues. The philips tip/insert whatever you want to call it stripped. I was in the last step of disassembly which is the thermal plate or something like that. There are 8 screws to remove. Screwdriver was useless at that point. Fortunately I have a micro flat screwdriver that I was able to get the screws broken loose and finish with the philips provided. I will note that my phone had original screen so the screws from factory were not over tightened. There is blue loctite from factory. I was unable to get 2 of the screws removed using my screwdriver so I needed up haveing to cut them off from them plate. I was worried that it would affect function of phone but so far so good. That was the only issue I had.I am only giving 2 stars because of the tools provided.Update:I was given a partial refund to make up for the tool. So I will base my rating on the product itself not the tools included.

Very good product - happy with install
Item was received 1 day after placing the order - talk about fast shipment (Philly suburbs). First impressions were very positive. The box was put together to protect the screen very nicely and also held the tools and misc items that were bundled with the screen - and kept everything together until I was ready for the install. The install itself went very smooth. This was my first iPhone screen replacement and a quick search on youtube gave me the step by step instructions necessary. Note! Do not try this unless you are familiar/confident with mini electronic components. First off - the magnet sheet that comes with the package was a huge help. Each screw has its exact place holder on the magnet sheet. You'll know exactly where each screw came from. I was also pleasantly surprised that the new screen included the mounts for the front-facing camera, proximity sensor, and speaker (I believe it was the speaker). I was ready to transfer these components from the old screen to the new screen and was very happy when I realized I was able to skip those steps - which include using super glue or some other adhesive to attach them to the new screen (messy and difficult if not done correctly). After completing the install, I powered up the phone and the screen did not light up. I noticed a tiny amount of light coming from the top-left corner of the screen. Disconnected the 4 ribbon cables and reconnected only the 2 for the screen and digitizer - same result, no lit-up screen. I disconnected the cables from the new screen and connected the same 2 cables from the old screen and the old screen worked just fine. I reconnected the new screen one more time making sure each connector was fully seated and finally, the new screen lit up when I powered up the device. Third time's a charm. My recommendation is to make sure the cables are fully connected. When you think they're fully connected, check again.I had no issues seating the screen inside the phone's frame and finishing the install. I added the screen protector and was very happy with the results. Had no issues with touch sensitivity, front facing camera, proximity sensor, audio, etc.... The toolkit was a nice addition too. The magnetic screwdriver made removal/installation easy; however, I noticed the philips head bit seems to be a bit too small for some of the screws. I was able to use another screwdriver I had on hand to complete the task. If you're the type of person willing to replace a screen, this probably isn't your first toolkit and won't be an issue.Overall, for the price, I was very happy with the results. And if needed, I would gladly purchase again. I have not been able to test the device for an extended period of time, but I have confidence this new screen will keep us happy for quite some time. Hoping you have the same experience!

Got a bad one
So I have installed several screens and I am comparing this to others I have installed in the past. The Good : The packaging was very good and it protected the screen during shipping. It came with a set of paper instructions for those who don't want to watch a YouTube video. These instructions were fairly detailed and even told you where each screw went which is pretty important on replacing the screen. The tool kit was decent and worked very well. I installed the screen and it looked great. No defects at all.The Bad : It claims it had a YouTube instructional video. I didn't need the instructions but I wanted to review them. But after trying to find the video it said it no longer exsists. Then on the paper instructions there was a couple sections where if you weren't paying attention to how you took the internal components out the instructions weren't clear on how they went back in. Specifically the camera. Then when you get to the end rather than rewriting the instructions with pictures they just tell you to do everything backwards to get the screen back together. I think it would have been better if they laid out the instructions for you rather than just saying do everything backwards. The Ugly : So I got this installed and it was working great. My Siri though wasn't responding and my front microphone (there is a microphone on the front of the phone by the earpiece) was not working. I thought at first I broke my flex so I figured this was my issue. But then a day after it was installed it suddenly went black while I was using it. My Apple Watch was telling me my phone wasn't dead. So i took it to an iPhone shop to get a new screen. When he gave me the old one to return there was a clear spot where the screen internals shorted and exploded. It was an obvious defect in material. I applied for a return and was quickly given one so other than time nothing really lost.Overall : If you get a good one of these screens they are nice looking replacements. But I happened to get one with a short. Also make sure that you pay attention to how things look before you just pull them out. As long as you do that you shouldn't have a problem getting it back together even with no experience. There are plenty of good reviews so I am sure I got an exception with having a bad one. But it was a bad one nonetheless.
