Reputable, customer driven and someone i would recommend.
This is my first review ever because they deserve it for quality of customer service. But first, the model is superb. It is heavy and detailed great. At the price, which seems high, I expected to be underwhelmed. It was just the opposite. However, it is not a toy for young ones. The detailing requires care when handling. Three props that work, a rudder that steers, and the speed is perfect, not fast enough to disintegrate if it hits the wall of the pool. The lights are great, and the remote is assume, you can adjust the trim. My family loves it, especially my 8 year old grandson who is infatuated with the Titanic, reading books for his age level and asking us questions. Now for the real 5+ rating. Some how the remote was lost, probably thrown out in error. I contacted the seller, told them I lost it and could I purchase a replcement. Within hours they responded telling me they would send a replacement. It arrived 5 days later. I worked in customer service my entire career, this is what excellent customer service is about. Thank you!!!!!!!

I would love to give this a good review but…
For starters this is such a cool product, it’s massive in scale, detailed for the price compared to counterpart rc titanics. But the only thing that holds it back is the electronic quality is extremely cheap and will not work reliably. The first ship I had was dead on arrival, the controller itself would not communicate with the ship. The second one partially worked but the rudder would only turn right and the battery died out after 10 minutes or less of runtime. Since this is 200+ dollars and is advertised as an rc boat, this is a dealbreaker. If it were just a nice mantle piece that lit up for cheaper all would be forgiven. Don’t plan on taking this to the river or pool if you buy. Invest in a nice model or the $1300 Bancroft version if you’re a Titanic enthusiast. Thankfully the seller is very good with returns.

A must have Titanic!
I've been a Titanic enthusiast all my life so when I found this R/C R.M.S. Titanic I jumped at it as fast as I could! I took her for her "maiden voyage" today, (and I'm pleased to say she did NOT have the same end result as the original Titanic did back in 1912). As a "Titanic enthusiast" I am pretty picky with details for ANY Titanic replica. While there are some inconsistencies with the details, (which I won't bother going into), it is a great R/C Titanic. (A friendly warning), if sailing her on a lake MAKE SURE it's one you can swim in. Because the range seems kinda short, (with the antenna that comes with the ship for the controller it's about 50ft maybe so I recommend getting a longer one which I did myself and the range nearly doubled), but it is a great boat and a must have. So I certainly DO recommend this ship for anyone! (And when I get the money I intend to order 2 more so I can repaint them to look like her 2 sister ships the R.M.S. Olympic, (in her WWI dazzle paint job), and the H.M.H.S. Britannic, (in her hospital ship paint job), just for fun.)(And since the name isn't writen on the ship she can double as the R.M.S. Titanic's older sister the R.M.S. Olympic, before the Titanic sank that is.)

Where do I start with this??? BAD Seller? Defective product? Unfair shipping charges??
We bought this for our grandson for Christmas. He's only 6 but he's completely obsessed with the Titanic. It was a big expense at $165 but since this is probably his last truly "magical" Christmas we decided we really wanted him to have it. The ship worked only once. During our first run the rudder stopped working for no apparent reason. We thought maybe the batter was weak so we took it out of the pool and recharged the battery. When we put it in for the second time we got nothing. The lights came on but there was no power to the boat motor and the ship sat in the water like a dead stick.I followed the instructions for getting a replacement - and here is where I'm really mad - I PAID $26 TO SHIP A DEFECTIVE TOY BACK TO THE MANUFACTURER AND THEY WON'T REIMBURSE ME FOR THE SHIPPING CHARGE!!!!!. When I pushed the issue they simply said in an email that they are only responsible for a replacement item not the shipping. I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY GET AWAY WITH THAT!!!! They charge the customer to ship a defective item and then they charge them a second time for a replacement???? How is that fair?? So now I'm into this Titanic - which probably isn't worth the price we paid - for nearly $200.00. I'd like to know how Amazon allows them to mismanage their customers. I've learned my lesson. If it isn't an Amazon Prime purchase I'll shop elsewhere. Amazon returns for Prime customers are easy and FREE to the customer.

Very nice, and a ton of fun! NOTE- I recomend this for persons with modeling experience.
The media could not be loaded. I actually purchased two of these..although manufactured by the same company in China, there are minor differences between the two. The first arrived and I ran it quite a few times with no problems, but wanted to do some modifications to it. The only downside was it didn't say Titanic on the model, and it didn't have digital proportional steering nor throttle, but when reversing, only the wing propellers operate, and not the center propeller, like the real ship. I found this to be a real cool detail. I ordered a second to compare to the first after modifications were done...and got a surprise..the second model DOES say Titanic on the bow, and has a more sophisticated radio system with speed control and digital proportional steering. So now I can't really which I like better. The first is a bit faster and runs longer on a battery charge, the second a bit slower, but much more realistic in operation. The lighting system, battery pack, charger, and exterior detail are identical, with the exception of the name "TITANIC" on the bow. I think they are well worth the investment..and a lot of fun! The video is of the first model. I added a "Ships Horn" sound effect gizmo that doesn't come with it.
