Super shiny silver silk filament. Very easy to print, just loaded as generic silk in printer and went flawlessly, with awesome sheen effect and zero artefacts. Dry out of the package, no tangling or stringing. Highly recommended!

This review is written based upon other Silk filaments and not on PLA in general. This is important because all silk filaments have drawbacks and it would be unfair to compare them against standard PLA.I received two rolls of the filament, Silver and Blue and the review corresponds to both as they show no difference in quality or printability.You kind of know when you are unboxing something a bit better that normal when you see that the filament has been wound perfectly on the reel. I doubt it could be wound any better. There are no crossed filaments and therefore no dents in the filament leading to thickness changes. the whole feel of it gives you confidence from the outset.Printing highlights the kind of problems you normally get with silk filament with poorer bed adhesion and lower layer to layer adhesion, especially when using layers less that 0.16mm. This is common with all silks but I would say that this silk performed better than any other silk I've used. Bed adhesion was adequate for my purposes and I've not yet experienced any warping due to bed release. Layer to layer adhesion was fine as long as I stayed at 0.16mm or above. Below that and it will easily break on layers. for strength I wouldn't use it below 0.2mm.Other issues were again typical of silk so its wrong to criticize the filament for them but nonetheless its worth mentioning for first time users. The filament will show up blemishes that you will not see with standard PLA. Changes of direction are more pronounced due to the silky effect of the filament, blobs are also more obvious. Sanding Silk will lose the silk effect and it is almost impossible to return the surface to anything near original. Even finishing with 3000s wet and dry wont do it.Having said all of this, there are times when silk will give you precisely what you want and look stunning. For instance I print Alloy wheels for model cars with the silver silk and they look stunning when done.So if you are looking for a nice silk filament you wont go far wrong with EONO and will will certainly be buying more in the future.

The media could not be loaded.  I have found my new favourite filiment! The colours on each model come out fantastic. I did a temp tower for each one and on my k1 max the ideal temp was 205c.No warping with a bed temp of 45c. No problems with any clogging either. Print quality was the best I've had so far especially with silk filiment. Some stringing at the end on one print but that will be my settings.

Pleasantly surprised by this filament! Lovely shiny colour and printed quite well first time!Downsides are it doesn’t seem very strong, but not a big issue, and it’s not quick colour change so you really need to print big items to get the most out of it, all in all though a really nice filament and I’m looking forward to using it again!

The media could not be loaded.  I haven’t had this open for long and I have tried various ways of getting this to stick! All I have is a flexi Rex graveyard!

1st time when I have used this filament, straight away to printer and no problems, I have printed with temp 210 and 65, print quality was very good and no problems with tangle, defiantly recommended 👍

Plastic prints really nicely but this is not gold. It looks more like a shiny orange which you could argue is goldfish coloured. The colour is nothing like the images shown in the listing.The plastic itself is good enough quality and easy to print with.

This silver PLA silk filament is not bad for the money. I have had better quality in some of my other filaments, i did think this one looked a little too plasticly to be honest, but it did the job i needed it for. There is a pretty nice sheen to the material once printed, but again i have seen better. Adhesion was very strong to my print bed.Would i purchase this again? Yes i would, i am a fan of Amazon brand filaments, they are good when you are on a budget and work very well.

Utiliser avec une imprimante créality 3D CP01 les création sont propres et faciles à mettre en œuvre mais restent fragiles, faut vraiment gonfler la densité du montage pour avoir une petite résistance à l'effort. Mais c'est joli...bof!
