AC Adapter, 12V/2A AC DC Switching Power Supply Adapter(Input 100-240V, Output 12V 2A) with DC Connector 12V / 2A（1 Pack）

I had a very nice hard disk stop being recognized. I changed the USB cable with no luck. The computer recognized SOMETHING was being plugged in, but did not recognize the drive, no matter what I did. It was making a soft noise. Deep in the owners manual was a trouble shooting tip to change ALL the cables. Now, I had no replacement power cable until I got this gem. And it worked! The drive mounts and functions normally! All my data is fine!

So i purchased this because i needed a replacement for my tenergy battery charger power cord which my family lost. I'm an electrician, i purchased reschedule batteries for my multimeter, hotstick, outlet tester and the circuit breaker finder. Oh want about to charge my batteries for a long time, now i can no issue, plus it comes with a usb2 adapter so I'm good.

We were having issues with our QSee camera system. Half the cameras were working intermittently and I thought we were going to have to replace them. Did some troubleshooting to find out we had a bad power supply.You'd think the manufacturer would offer replacements, but they didn't. Checked the model number of the originals and this was the same.Plugged it in once it arrived and everything was back up and running.

What I needed to replace a lost adapter for my rv furniture. About 1/3 the price of the oem replacement. Cord is short, about 2.5 ft I would guess so could have used another 18 inches. But great deal for what I needed.

Quality of this Adapter is very Poor. Soon after installing it, it started to run HOT! Also, CCTV system started ringing and all CC TV cameras were flashing, announcing Adaptor was running HOT. I had to buy another and go without my CCTV until we receive the new one.

Nicely-made item, with fast delivery. A good feature is the green LED that warns that it is plugged into a live AC outlet. The 36" cord is OK, but it would be better at 48" or more. This is a switch-mode power supply and its 12 V output is not pure DC - it has 60 Hz ripple superimposed on it. This is not a problem in most 12 V DC applications, but in my special case it causes hum when used to power an audio amplifier that normally runs on an internal battery. As a musician, the hum is not a serious problem, but sufficient to cause me to avoid using this power adapter - unless I absolutely have to. Otherwise, this is a good quality 12 V DC adapter for all applications that are not sensitive to the 60 Hz ripple on its output.

All of the prongs need to be longer.

if you need a power cable this is the one for you. Seriously has so many attachments (I only needed one so havent tested the others) what more do you need!
