very flimsy, but it looks great. since it's not really meant to be touched, it's honestly durable enough

What a fun sign! I was. Huge fan of Initial D, and was super excited when I stumbled upon this license plate. I’m currently building a noodle bar and tea house in my basement. I wanted a Japanese inspired feel, so I’ve been looking and inquiring bar style Japanese art/products and motifs. This license plate was perfect for this space and is one of my favorite additions to the wall so far.The sign was exactly as described. The letters and numbers are imprinted/embossed and add a bit of visual interest when the light reflects off the sign. It’s seems to be standard size and came shipped/wrapped securely. I actually kept the plastic on mine to prevent it from acquiring scratches, dirt. Etc.I’d totally recommend this sign if you’re an initial D fan or just looking for a really cool vanity plate.

Looks exactly like the picture. I put this on my car a year ago and it’s held up well. I’m still very happy with my purchase

The product looks amazing. Better than what I expected. I just added it to the front. The real test will come tomorrow when I hop on the freeway and hit some bump roads. If you don’t hear from me again……no news is good news.

Got this for my boyfriend for christmas, and he absolutely loved it. Surprisingly it’s real metal, and not bendy and flimsy at all. No off paint, and it looks really good. This was a great gift, and once i get into initial D i may need to consider one for me too.

Have a JDM truck and was hoping to add some authenticity by adding a front plate, will have to drill it to fit the Japanese bolt pattern. Looks good and feels like aluminum.

I grew up with Initial D and wanted to put something unique on my Japanese car. It's made of good materials and it hasn't chipped or faded after years of use. The paint looks authentic to genuine Japanese license plates and the numbers/characters are pressed (not just painted). What I wasn't expecting is how many people stop to talk about my car because of the license plate. Beware, though, depending on the jurisdiction where you live, you may be required to run your own state/province's license plate on the front as well as the rear of your vehicle, so you might want to use this one for car shows only.
