I like the finish but that product became yellow in no time

I used ESR products before also but this one notUpto the mark.Just few days used. It Becomes yellowish.I tried to clean but doesn’t work.

I’ve had these thin silicone cases before on previous iPhones.I keep my phone in the case 24/7 but after just a few months this has become so loose I need to get a new case. I just feel my phone could easily slip out of this now.I like thin cases so not sure what to go for next. Won’t be getting a direct replacement thou, it just doesn’t feel sturdy enoughReview updated on 25-May after ESR got in touch and provided a new replacement case. All good so far.Review updated again on 16th July as the replacement case has done exactly the same and become ridiculously loose. Avoid as phone can easily slip out. I guess ultimately you get what you pay for….

This looks great. It feels pretty good too, particularly the back, but run your fingers around the front-facing edges and it just doesn’t quiet feel ‘Apple’ in the quality of the finish. But for less than a tenner, when Apple charges £50, there’s really no contest. The fit is great. Goes on easily and comes off easily too, but not so easily that it’s slipping off in your pocket. I don’t like the brand name and ‘original since 2009’ embossed on the side but it is small and pretty unobtrusive. There’s also ‘drop guard protection’ embossed on lip around the camera. This protective lip is chunky and means the phone doesn’t sit totally flat on a table. But it’s a big camera on this 12 Pro Max. To make it sit flat, the back of the case would have to be really thick. Not sure what Apple’s case is like in this regard this year? Wireless charging works fine through the case. Not tried MagSafe. I think Apple’s own clear case looks stupid with the MagSafe ring. I’d like to assume MagSafe will still work even through this case seeing as normal wireless charging does, but cannot be sure and perhaps there is a reason Apple put the ring in their own case? Overall this is a bargain. I bought it as a punt and I’m expected to probably cave and fork out £50 for an Apple one eventually, but this may well last me the whole year til the next upgrade!

I’ve used and liked ESR cases for some time now and have always been fairly impressed with what they put out for the price. This is the exception the that unfortunately. This was obviously produced before the iPhone 12 Pro Max was in full production as it just doesn’t fit properly. The top and bottom are fine and the phone fits in the case, but the sides are baggy on it and don’t sit flush to the sides of the phone. As far as the anti-bubble finish in the inside back of the case, it works brilliantly and you don’t get that bubble effect that you get fairly often with cheaper cases.I’m afraid I can’t recommend this case due to the figment issues, but once that’s sorted, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it in the future.

I've had this case for 2 weeks now and it's already starting to turn yellow. At first, I thought it was the gold colour of the phone reflecting the light but when I took the case off, the case is going yellow. I'd expect this after a few months or even a year but not 2 weeks.Also, the top edge of the case is loose and allows dust and lint to gather underneath.Avoid this case and buy something else.

This case is cheap and so don’t expect anything great. I’ve bought this as a temporary case until the better ones get back in stock. It’s pretty much as described, clear and shows the phone off well enough but it does not fit as snuggly as I would like, It has a little slack on the sides and bottom. Also, I personally wouldn’t test this case out by dropping my phone, it has a nice camera bump but because of the fit on the sides I really doubt this will offer any real screen or body protection.I was going to give this 3 stars at first but to be fair it is cheap and it does the job as described so pushed it up to 4 stars. If you need something temporary to protect the back and sides of your iPhone 12 pro max from scratches until you buy something else then this is a good pick. If you aren’t picky about fit and only really worry about scratches and not dents or dropping the phone, then again this might be a good pick.
