The Naked Armadillo COMMERCIAL-HOSE is a professional-grade 3/4-inch hose manufactured to withstand the heavy duty use found in commercial and construction applications. The unique cover provides the durability and flexibility of a rubber hose. This hose meets RMA (class B) oil resistance. It has rubberized thermoplastic for enhanced flexibility. There is an exceptional abrasion resistant cover and great resistance to weather and aging. Hose has 175 PSI maximum working pressure. Can range in temperature from -15 F (-26 C) to 150 F (65 C.) The development of the "Armadillo Water Hose" began in January 2004. The inventor, a pet lover and owner of a friendly Yellow Labrador Retriever named "Bentley" encountered a problem as do many pet owners today. Bentley was "teething" and enjoyed the soft exterior of the backyard water hose. In an effort to protect Bentley and keep from replacing the water hose on a regular basis, the search was on for a for a water hose that was impervious to a dog’s bite or "chewing".
