Thirstystone Stoneware Coaster Set, Sea Shells

Coasters are not absorbent. Water from condensation pools on the surface and glass sticks to coaster. Colors are muted. The box indicates thirstystone but they seem like knockoffs to me.

The seashell design makes for some very attractive coasters. The cork backing is a nice feature so they don't damage table tops. Overall, a very nice quality look. For most people I think this product works great.However, I did deduct a star because they are not absorbent enough if you like really cold drinks and use a cup that sweats a lot. My husband had one of the coasters stick to the bottom of his glass when he picked it up. It then fell off and chipped when it hit the ground. We have an older set of stone coasters we were give years back that he has not had any issues with (bought new ones for the design).

These stone coasters are slightly larger than usual, and nice and heavy. I don't think they will move easily when used, which is good. I like the seashell design and the color. They are exactly what I wanted to put next to a large jar of shells. I do recommend them.

The coasters do not slide around on my table and keep water rings off the antiques. The shell coasters fit in at our bay home. I bought two sets. Happy with purchase.

The Thirstystone Stoneware coasters are perfect for our 'island' home. They are a great addition to the decor and work very well with cold drinks. The size is perfect, too! Not too big and not too small!
