simple and easy to use

It can measure but it is not so easy to use
There is only one button to do all: change temperature unit, show memorized temperatures, take the temperature and switch on. For me, it is not easy to memorize how many seconds I need to do each of these, so all the time I need a measure I have to read the manual... this is why it is a 3 stars for me. The design is really nice, though.

Easy, accurate, dependable
This thermometer is awesome! It gives consistently accurate results. It’s so easy to use...I depended on this to give me accurate temperature during Covid and it did nothing disappoint!

Amazon sent a used thermometer
I received the thermometer in a plastic bag...no original box and no manual. The plastic protective coating over the top had clearly been peeled off and put back on (even had fuzz in the corner). In addition, despite the description clearly stating that no batteries were included, THERE WERE BATTERIES IN IT.I tried it out since it already had the batteries, and received readings ranging from 98.7 to 99.9 all within a minute of each other....maybe I am using it wrong since again, no manual or instructions.Definitely returning.

Easy No Fuss Accuracy
Easy to use. Turn on point at forehead and voila! Your temperature! Basically it's idiot proof and works just as prescribed.
