Gary Poppins Popcorn - Gourmet Handcrafted Flavored Popcorn - Kettle Corn, 2 Gallon Tin

This was probably the worst thing I've ever purchased on Amazon. I've had good "Chicago style" popcorn from different places and was hoping this would be a great place to order from. Let me say for almost $40.00 a gallon for this substandard chewy popcorn, I feel completely ripped off. When I opened the tin, everything was packed so tight that it was one solid block. As you work your way down, you realize that the whole kernels were only at the top and below it's nothing but tiny little fragments of popcorn that are so mixed together that you can't differentiate between the caramel and cheese. I am attaching a picture to show you. Maybe this was a fluke, but it's one mistake I wish I could take back and I will never give them the chance to take me for my money again. Everything about it screamed sitting in a warehouse for a long time.

I paid $30.00 for a tin of popcorn that I thought would last my husband and I throughout the football bowl games.Well, the amount of popcorn you get is a joke AND the three flavors tastedstale!!!😠 Ended up throwing most of it away and using tin as a small canister!!

I was hesitant to buy this popcorn -- even tho' it was half price on Warehouse Deals -- after reading all the negative reviews. Wondered how Gary Poppins managed to stay in business with such a lousy product. But the urge for Chicago style popcorn overcame my doubts and I'm glad it did because the popcorn I got is excellent. First of all, the can was securely taped, so nothing could spill out. And the popcorn was separated with a 3-way divider. The cheese corn is very rich, cheddary, caramel not overly sweet, but the best is the buttered sea-salt. Very crisp, goes well with the caramel for "salted caramel" style corn. And no hulls sticking in the teeth so far! Maybe this company has improved recently?

My tin arrived crushed, and the popcorn, is stale. If you love this popcorn, buy it bagged, because it’s less likely to be stale.

this is normally a MOST WONDERFUL product...and i WILL BUY IT AGAIN.but this particular can was filled with burnt...inedible kernels...such that i had to rid myself of most of the product..throwing about 1/2 the can outthis was a great disappointment...esp given how wonderful the product normally is.hoping for better next time.--tricia

We love the Gary Poppins popcorn, but the batch in the 2 Gallon tin was really stale when we got it. Also, the tin wasn't dented which may have contributed to the staleness. We will probably stick with the bags, for they may have a better seal.

This is the "BEST" cheese popcorn! All are large kernels of corn with not a lot of broken pieces in the tin. I highly recommend this product to lovers of cheddar cheese popcorn.!
