Hot Stuff Thin Instant CA Glue, 2oz HS-4

Perfect! This glue worked perfectly for what I needed. It’s nice and thin, absorbs I to the material, and makes a very fast, strong bond!That convenience does come at a price however. When using this glue, please use it in a well ventilated area, preferably outside, and take care to not get it in your skin! It cures really quickly, which is one of the nice things about it. However, the reaction is very exothermic, and can burn the skin! Be very careful not to inhale the fumes as well, as cyanoacrylate is a severe respiratory irritant!Take proper precautions, and this is a good glue!

A superior CA glue for luthier work. Incredible flow. Really finds it's way into the most impossibly small cracks and crevices. I was never a fan of CA glue until using this one. Very solid bond. Sands well. Layers well. I had to strip a guitar which had a crack repaired with this glue and the Hot Stuff glue did not degrade form the stripper chemicals. The company is outstanding as well and their customer support is a joy to deal with. Another reason to buy this made-in the US product. Also, I should mention that it gives you a few seconds of set time so that you can clean up or re-set before it dries, if a disaster happens (ask me how I know).

This isn't "just crazy glue", it's a very, very watery preparation that has no surface tension or viscosity to speak of. It will wick and seep and run all over everything, given a chance. So it has applications that it's perfect for, but "ordinary" crazy glue will work better for ordinary applications.I used it for gluing the bridge pins of a grand piano. It's so watery that it will be taken up by wood cells, and then freeze them in a swollen state, increasing the tightness of a pin in a worn hole and finding its way into any tiny cracks around the pin. I also used it for a cracked phone screen - again, it runs so freely that it can find its way into a crack like that, and won't just sit on top.It's very cool glue for certain things, but if you spill it it will flow everywhere. It won't just go on as a blob, it will run and flow almost supernaturally, so you want to use considerable caution with it. I drew it up in a tuberculin syringe to apply it - just dripping it out of the bottle can be a messy business, and you want to have some acetone on hand, to help clean up places where you didn't mean it to go.
