Artisan handmade pendant with African brass and earthenware beads in a tribal necklace design. The multi-colored clay beads are knotted by hand onto waxed linen cord, joined about a third of the way by handmade earthenware rings. The beads toward the back of the design are carved bone that has been darkened to a rich brown color. The pendant is 1 7/8 inches in diameter, with the total length of the necklace being about 24 inches (20 inches plus 3.5 inch pendant drop)
