Janome1/4" Ruler Foot for High Shank Models (9mm or 7mm Maximum Width)

I cannot believe I didn't buy this before! It makes my quilting squares have a perfect 1/4" seam. It is even easier when the pattern calls for a scant. I bought my daughter one when I realized how much easier it was to make quilt blocks. You would not use this for sewing except to sew seams. It otherwise pushes your fabric.

1/4" foot for quilting ruler work. Specific for my Janome sewing machine. Just what I needed. Love it

I know it is a "quarter inch ruler foot" but I think the outside diameter must be cut to the metric sizing (9mm) or something because when I purchased 1/4" echo feet to go with this, they slipped right off, but only by a hair, which is essentially a tolerances issue caused by the variance between metric and English units. Bummer. Otherwise I love having a 1/4" ruler foot and am learning how to use it with nice thick rulers for my high-shank Janome machine!

I got this foot to do ruler quilting on my Janome 6700P. A generic foot that I had purchased did not work on my machine; the foot would hit the needle bar on the upward motion. This foot fits perfectly on my machine and glides against the edges of the rulers. The only thing a user has to be aware of, is to make sure you adjust and tighten the foot so the needle is in the center of the foot. I did have to move it gently and it slid into place. It may cost a little more but it is made by Janome for a Janome. Well worth the price.

I have a high shank Janome 8200 QCP Sewing Machine I have two other complete FMQ feet that I use all the time. I had purchased from Amazon the free motion attachment and because I use the other 2 feet all the time I decided to just go ahead and buy it complete which I found was a reasonable price. I needed this ruler foot so that I could use for my free motion quilting and my rulers. The item is exactly as described and it is a genuine Janome part. The Shipping was super fast and the packaging protected the foot this is so easy to install and easy to use, make sure that you measure because this is a high shank this is not for a low shank there is a big difference this high shank will not work for a low shank machine. I am completely satisfied with it and would highly recommend it.
