I tried this paper out just as an experiment and was so glad I did. The paper holds a lot of water without buckling and the colors stay rich and vibrant. When my artist friends hold one of my paintings they are extremely impressed with the texture and the weight. It has been a real joy painting on it and I like it so much so that it will now be part of my studio paper of choice stock. I also plan to purchase some of the 9x12 and am excited about what possibilities await me. I highly recommend this paper.

Even though it says cold-pressed, it is really rough in texture. It’s definitely rougher than regular cold pressed paper. However, it is really sturdy paper. If you want rough paper for watercolor, this is a great option.

I make cards and paint flowers on the sheets to insert into a black cardstock card. The only thing I noticed is that you can't pick up the paint very well on this paper but for the price I think it is great!

Works great for wet on wet, also dry brushing for water or trees. Great value for the price.

This is my favorite watercolor paper it is the second time have have bought this beautiful paper it is amazing I use it for miniature handmade watercolor cards I sell this is a whole different level of quality

Very rough watercolor paper. Great for granulating paints as all the particles of pigment fall in all the nooks and crannies of the paper. Very thick. Holds a ton of water and paint applications. I thought this was a good deal on 50 pieces. I paid $15 for 10 pieces from another shop on another site. If rough paper is your thing...... you should try it out.
