Easy to install once you follow the instructions
This remote switch worked great with DDL-06 Decora Dimmer switch. Pairing with the main dimmer was straight forward, all I had to do was press the side dimmer on the remote either up or down and it paired with the master switch. Installing was easy once I followed the instructions and watched a few youtube videos.

Works great with Apple HomeKit
I have multiples of these in my home, paired with Leviton smart dimmers (Gen 2). Those Gen 2 dimmers are all updated to Matter, and I use Apple HomeKit to mange them via the Home app. They work very fast, and I’ve had literally zero trouble since installing them in May of 2023. I highly recommend these as the basis of any smart home effort. I’m not kidding, Matter is F-A-S-T.They also worked with with HomeKit prior to installing the Matter firmware.I also have them controlled via my Samsung SmartThings fridge. The fridge is a secondary Matter controller, relying on my HomeKit hubs (AppleTVs, HomePods). This works flawlessly too. Sadly, Samsung hasn’t fully jumped on the Matter bandwagon insofar as my Samsung devices don’t show up in the Home app as they *ought* to.

Nice remote switch
Does exactly what it’s made for. Doesn’t need any setup since it just communicates with the other switch. I recommend reading the instructions for both switches before installing them, because I had one mostly installed before realizing the switches can’t be installed interchangeably. The one that is NOT the companion has to be the one hooked up to the load (light). One other item important to note is that this doesn’t work exactly like a 3-way switch. One of the wires has continuous power, and the traveler wire is used to communicate between the switches. I somehow kept missing the section in the instructions that show the line wire and wire going to the switch both being connected to the same screw.

Works with Alexa and Google Assistant
These are great for voice control of your lights. I would just say that Leviton needs to do some security work on their database that controls these Internet-connected lights. One April Fools day the lights in my house randomly started turning off or on when we didn't command them to do so. Support at Leviton claimed they had a system upgrade and it went a little buggy, but was then resolved. My feeling is some programmer left an easter egg in their code and they didn't want people to know.Outside of that, the control of the lights ran awry the same way one other time in the 3 years since I've had them, but it wasn't April 1st that time. Not sure what it is, but if it keeps happening, it would be something weird

Work we, many programming options.
I have installed more than 14 of these so far in three different houses.Works well, set up is easy once you get the hang of it. Not entirely intuitive.Between the Leviton App and Alexa App you have many options for programming these. Two words caution.1) you must have a ground wire in each electrical wall box for these to work.2) all of these switches, remotes, and dimmers are fairly large, the size of a traditional dimmer or bigger. IF your electrical wall box is already crowded with additional wires and wire nuts they may not fit. Or you may need to do some wire trimming and rearranging.

Great product
This is a remote to the DW6HD Leviton Dimmer. This unit will not function without the DW6HD Leviton Dimmer. Once installed, they work like a charm. The only problem with these dimmers is that you need an internet connection to control them remotely. The commands from your phone do not go directly to the device, they go to the Leviton server that communicates with your device. Having these devices on your local network (home router) is a bit of a security concern, as hackers could have access to your computers via these devices.Leviton IoT is no different than Apple or Samsung IoT and most people have confidence in the devices built in security. Personally I recommend that you setup a seperate IoT network for these devices.
