Don’t by these! I found out that a useless bedside touch lamp I’d purchased, and to be frank too lazy to return, required these bulbs. Well, my first mistake was to keep the lamp, and secondly buying these bulbs. Warning.. these are halogen bulbs that get extremely hot. The lamp in which I purchased them for didn’t have a secure screw like most lampshades have, so if you or 2 legged or 4 legged family member knocks this over.....I’m pretty sure what ever material it landed on would be up in smoke. If you have children or playful energetic pets don’t buy any lamp that requires this bulb. I’ve since thrown away the lamp and these bulbs!

It only took 7 months to burn through all 10 of these bulbs in the same light fixture. The longest one lasted was two weeks. I used them in an outdoor light that automatically turns on and off at dusk and dawn. I clean them in alcohol before installing to be sure there is no dirt, oil, or contamination on the bulb, but they just don't last.

Used one of these bulbs in a bathroom sconce light. Bulb worked great..until it exploded, shattering the thick glass bulb dome and scaring the crap out of me when it popped. I had glass all over the bathroom, in the tub, and in my hair. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because it did light and fit the fixture correctly and they were pretty cheap. That being said, I will not be using the other 9 bulbs and went out and paid about $5 for one bulb at menards. Additionally, removing the old prongs was very difficult since there was no glass to grab onto. Had to use a tweezers to carefully pull them out.

These are for a bathroom fixture with 5 bulbs. First tried the shortest LEDs I could find, but they were 40 watt equivalents and too dim. 60W equivalent LEDs stick down too far. So I'm replacing the LEDs one by one . These halogen bulbs are small, brilliant white and bright. Everything you want except high power consumption.

Bought a new bathroom light bar that called for G9 lights. The lights did not come with the bar. I considered LEDs but the space would not accommodate the longer, larger wattage LEDs. G9 base bulbs available at the local box store were rather costly for the 7 of them I needed. This box of 10 bulbs was the perfect solution - great price, nice wattage and I have 3 spares.

Time will tell if these bulbs last as long as the bulbs purchased for my bathroom fixtures from a lighting store ... $8 each! So far the bulb is just as bright as the others in the fixture. These came with other items & as usual fast shipping with Amazon.

sad that ledvance is closing a sylvania halogen lamp manufacturing plant in kentucky so we can get these made in china.

These bulbs burn out so fast. I've almost gone through them in just a few months. Not worth it.
