Great for soreness
I recently had two shoulder fractures and I alternate between pain and weird cramps in my upper arms. Using this before I ice them really helps. The other menthol rubs can burn or the smell will drag you out of the room

Best I found so far compared to Traumeel....
For the past 10 years, I have come to realize I need the best muscle relief cream following exercise; mostly intense. Traumeel used to be the best out there for me, but they no longer make this product in the US, it's now manufactured in another country. You can still get it on Amazon - in their language it spells "Tpaym....". I did purchase a bottle from the new manufacturer back in 2016 and it seemed to offer the same relief, but I ended up trying this brand of Tiger Balm when I had run out, to test it out, and I was so impressed, I've ordered it ever since (started in 2017). My only complaint seems to always be the after-smell, my husband loves to comment as I'm upstairs and he can smell it from downstairs as I finish applying it. Not sure how to mask the smell, but when pain is present - the smell gives me the relief of knowing how well it works and it's immediate! Also, you do not need much, a little goes a long way for any affected area.
