Dreamland is Wild Belle's bold and evolutionary new album. The duo that forms the core of this Chicago based group are siblings Elliott and Natalie Bergman, and have created a sound known for infusing its psychedelic pop sound with grooves based on reggae and ska. Dreamland is the follow up to 2013's critically acclaimed album, Isles, and this new album expands the band's ambitions in every way. Wild Belle's multi-instrumentalist extraordinaire, Elliott, comments: "It's deeper, it's more fun, it's more haunting, it's got more grooves, there's sorrow and pain but there's also hope and joy all those things can coexist in the songs because they coexist in life." Work on Dreamland began in early 2014, in Chicago. The band tracked several songs there, and also recorded Los Angeles, Nashville, and Toronto. Dreamland features the single and video, "Throw Down Your Guns", that according to the siblings started out as a love song, but ultimately found the group riding a roughed up rhythm track with Natalie delivering a more emphatic lyricism than ever before. The song features Natalie Bergman's dusty yet joyous vocals over a bass heavy dance rhythm and a Jamaican pop-esque instrumental hook. The "Throw Down Your Guns" video features the Chicago Children's Choir as well as Chicago based footwork crew The ERA, perfectly complimenting the song s themes of peace, unity and love. In support of Dreamland, Elliott and Natalie will hit the road, traveling across the country with their band on a headline tour. The 21-city tour will kick off on April 22nd in Chicago, IL and conclude on May 20th in Minneapolis, MN. Recent press includes features in Glamour Magazine's "15 New Artists to Pay Attention to in 2016", Nylon Magazine, Billboard, and The Hollywood Reporter.

Excellent Music From Brother-Sister Team
I first heard "Losing You" at the local cafe where I go to read the newspaper and have a cup of coffee. After hearing this song a few times I bought the DVD, and it has become one of my favorites. The songs are fresh and get into your head; sometimes I hear this song or that one for hours on end. It's been a while since a tune moved me to this degree. Because of this I really recommend this album. Featuring excellent vocals and rousing instrumentals, this album will raise your spirits with tunes such as "Losing You" and "Throw Down Your Guns." Some of their tunes are on YouTube, and you can listen to those to help you make a buying decision. I vote YES for Dreamland and Wild Belle!

I do really like the whole album
I bought this mainly based on the punky energetic "I'm Giving Up on You"..... but that's fastest track on the album. I do really like the whole album, but it's just a different vibe than what I was expecting. I bought it without listening to the samples first. I give it 5 stars just because it really is a good solid album from beginning to end, and we need more women in Rock!!

Kind of like a dark Micheal Franti
Just heard of the band today, listened to a few tracks on YouTube and had to buy the album. I assumed they were Australian or Canadian. Not knocking American music, just pining for Motown I guess. Was surprised that they are yanks in any case. What a refreshing progressive sound though. Kind of like a dark Micheal Franti.

Best duo in many years .
First off, I'm 63 years young. I saw Wild Belle on the Tonight show with Jimmy Fallon. What can I say? I know talent and I know what I like. Wild Belle needs more exposure. They're great.
