Will NOT work for charging.
Bought these specifically to connect an Apple Magsafe charging pad for an iPhone. Does NOT work with either Apple or non Apple power supplies. This was quite disappointing, considering the specific claim of "100W PD" in the listing! Emailed the seller, he says "The power of the USB power supply may be insufficient when via this adapter, the output power will be diminished, which will lead to the inability to work." Uhhhhh... then why list PD in the first place? Thanks to Amazon for an easy return process.

I needed a way to connect a charger cord to a charger for a Samsung watch which also happened to be USB male. Perfect!

Works exactly the way I wanted
Used in combination with a USBc to Apple lightning cable to convert from USBc male to lightning male. When I bought my car, it had an aftermarket stereo system installed by the previous owner. A cable with USBc was installed inside the console and ran into the cabin between the plastic moulding and carpet, but we only have iPhones, so the USBc cable did us no good for charging or connecting to CarPlay. I couldn’t find a USBc female to lightning male anywhere, and I wanted a solution that didn’t involve removing the console moulding, so I bought this adapter and added a USBc male to lightning male cable. I secured it all together with some heat shrink tubing and tucked the entire assembly underneath the console moulding. It all works perfectly for connecting our iPhones to our stereo system.
