It was perfect for what we needed it for, Bought this for my 15 year old for Halloween to be the girl from The Ring. It was a hit. The gown itself Is nice, soft and everyone asked where we got it from. We did size up just so it won't be tight. She uses it to sleep in now, says it's very comfortable.

Nightgown arrived and fit nicely and is comfortable. My only complaint is it reeked excessively of fabric softener. Smelled up my entire bedroom and laundry room. The bag it was shipped in made my whole kitchen smell like fabric softener when I threw it away. Most of it came out in the wash (regular detergent and a vinegar rinse) but the smell is still there. Don't order if you have scent issues. On another note, I do like the weight of the fabric.

I am not exaggerating while I tell the world this -oops never mind. If I told you how comfortable this perfect nightgown I love so much is, there would be a stampede. I need some more. A lifetime’s worth. And what lovely Christmas presents for this year to the neices that send me thank you notes… Ah but one problem some mornings when If I had my way, I’d get out of the shower and put one of these on and lay around and eat bon bons and drink champagne all day.. It is beautiful in its simplicity, and tasteful in its accents of an abundantly long satin bow, and gold lacy black mesh trim.Very well made. Washed in cold water w a dash of softener, and hung it dry. It stretched to my figure just right.

I was expecting a beautiful, soft, flowy nightgown to use for a cosplay, but this was beyond disappointing! The sleeves were much too short and tight, and fit in all the wrong places! It was more like a bodycon on me! I got all of the measurements correct too. It fit me okay in the boobs, which is what I wanted, but it made me look pregnant and disgusting. Not even attaching a photo because it makes me look AND feel miserable. Instantly returning. Why can't clothes fit people with bigger bodies properly?!

I washed and dried it before trying it on. Prior to this it did not feel as expected. It was fine after but still not quite like cotton. And is something more for spring, not for winter. Warning! I am 5 ft 4 in and am 137 pounds at present. I go back and forth between 135 and 140. Medium fits in most things, small in some, but I do not like "fit". I like loose so I always order bigger. In this gown I was set on large but at the last minute decided on extra large. I'm glad I did. Large would have been snug. If you want it to fit you as it does on the model, it won't if you weigh much more than I do. The XL fits me as it does the model. She is smaller than me and I believe she is wearing a large, and it is longer on me than it is on her because I'm short. Update 2/20/23. I bought 2 and put one up. The one I wear has been washed and dried. No shrinking. No wrinkles. I'm wearing it now, after sleeping in it last night and no wrinkles.. I still say it might have some cotton in it, but it's not 100% cotton. Still, I like the feel of it "almost" as much as cotton and it wrinkles LESS! And washes and dries well. Keeps its shape.

Comfy enough but just surprised at material it’s more of a knot tee shirt material than a thin cotton

I like how the fabric feels it’s very very comfortable a little bit sheer but it’s very comfortable and it’s not as flared as I thought it would be but it’s not tight either it’s stretchy material, very very comfortable.The only thing as others have mentioned ,is that the ribbon comes comes frayed , which is why I had to resort to my lighter to heat seal the ends of the ribbons with a little bit of heat from the lighter and problem solved.. now I kind of feel like buying a sleeping bonnet that looks Victorian to complete the vintage look , I really like this look and I think I do recommend it. ;)

the material is really nice but I don't like the elastic around the wrists. Its too tight. and I cant cut it with out ruining the lace
