Quilled Creations319 Deluxe Crimper Tool

I make and sell greeting cards to benefit our local library, and my quilled cards sell almost as soon as I put them out on the rack. Most quilling tools are pretty 17th century, but this Deluxe Crimper Tool is modern (it uses gears!), well-designed and really easy to use. Just feed a strip of paper up to 3/8" wide into either the top set of gears (coarse crimp) or bottom set of gears (fine crimp), turn the knob, and out comes your crimped strip.Please see customer image 2 for an example of a greeting card that is decorated with a crimped stem and leaves. I urge the designers of this crimper tool to come up with an easy-to-use fringing tool for us quillers!

This review is for Quilled Creations Deluxe Crimper Tool. Cool little gadget for crimping quilling strips.There are two sets of interlocking toothed gears.You run your strip thru the gears and it zig-zag crinkles it coming out the other side. There are two crimp sizes, one is larger and further spaced apart, the other is smaller and tighter.The opening to either gear is exactly 3/8ths, so that would be the largest width strip that would fit. It is all plastic, except for a mounting screw for the gears. I have only used it a few times, but it seems pretty sturdy

Really better than I thought it would be. I'm a vaper and coil builder and I use this to make my ribbon wire corrugated ribbon wire, (wavy) and having the 2 different sizes option is nice, and being plastic I thought it might wear down or break easily especially with using metal on it (ribbon wire is metal, all coils made for vaping are some type of alloy of metal, the main 3 being Kanthal A1(mainly chromium and iron), SS316L (Stainless Steel), and Nichrome80 (Mainly nickel)

I like this crimper. It's easy to use and a good quality. I used it for many of my projects for the past few years.

I don't use this at all for Quilling, but I do use it to "corrugate" long strands of Kanthal and Nichrome 80 ribbon wire. It provides very consistent results and has made it much easier for me to make "corrugated" staple coils and such. I never want to go back to slot-car gears nailed to a 2x4 when I could be using this little thing to get better results without all the strain on my fingers.

very cool tool!!I've seen metal roller ones for $20 & they're just 1 size - this little do-hickey gives you 2 crimping sizes for less than half as much!! If you crimp for a living...eg/ make cards, do wedding invites etc. then perhaps you want a heavy-duty metal crimper, but for we hobbyist's, this works fabulously!!

Very happy with this product. I’m glad I chose this style. I like the fact is has two choices in crimping. I have used it a lot and I like the way the paper comes out.The bottom green leaves were made using the crimper.

Crimps nicely. Not easy to hold and sometimes the paper moves around and becomes curved

Just received this - arrived in perfect condition with very fast shipping. I have been eyeing this for a long time but wasn't sure of the quality. It is made of plastic but is quite sturdy and I like that it has two sizes of crimping. Good value for the price

Handy tool for quilling. Easy to use. Quality construction, withstands my grandchildren using it.

Works brilliantly - especially good when salvaging strips that have been crumpled or bent the wrong way!
