While a traditional canned salmon like this (with skin
I've used this canned salmon in several dishes so far; with steamed vegetables and miso, with wilted spinach and in a simple salmon salad (with mayonnaise). While a traditional canned salmon like this (with skin, bones and all) is perhaps not ideal for a salmon salad, all three dishes were excellent. Since this particular variety consists of pink salmon and there's no added salt, when eating straight out of the can the flavor doesn't quite "pop" like in canned products with salt added or made from other varieties of salmon however it's still perfectly delicious. In particular the broth has a rich salmon flavor. Fortunately broth does not compose a huge percentage of the product weight like some inferior canned fish brands that I've bought in the past (although canned salmons don't seem to be as bad as many canned tunas, sardines or mackerels). And regardless Thinkpink ends up incorporating into dishes very well, which I assume is how most people will eat it anyway.The box came with a photo, note and a recipe for fish cakes, which were nice little pluses. Shipping was fast, packaging was adequate and the price is good. I plan to make it a regular purchase from now on.

I am blown away. Best quality Salmon around. Wild caught. BPA Free. Sustainable. Bone-in (very important; one of the best bio-available sources of calcium).I received a handwritten letter with my shipment that told me exactly what region my salmon was harvested in. I also received 5 spectacular recipe cards in my package.I am blown away. Price, quality, ethos, all around amazing company and product.

Contains sand or grit
The flavor of this salmon is good and I appreciate being able to buy canned pink salmon with no salt added. However, I have ordered this salmon several times over the last couple of years and I have been increasingly finding that there is sand or grit in the cans. The grit is not the bones. The bones are easily chewed and I like them for the calcium. I'm referring to sand. The sand problem was occasional cans at first and now it is in every can. After buying many cases of this, I am going to have to buy a different brand from now on.

THE BEST SALMON EVER!
I am very picky & sensitive about taste & flavor since I was a vegan chef and sushi chef. As soon as I open the can, or not even open yet, poke the lid with opener, flesh smell of the salmon spread in the kitchen! My cat, she is also very picky, came up to kitchen counter and sniffing badly. We shared salmon and she licked all the water as well LOL! Love the last & flavor, this is the best wild salmon ever! This is truly came from salmon company from Alaska! They gave me a sweet greeting card & recipes as well. Thank you! I will order again!

Great canned Salmon
This is my 2nd order of this salmon. I've never been dissatisfied with this fish or how it was packed. I am not a fan of seafood in general, but I make an exception for this fish. The scent and flavor is mild, texture is soft, color and appearance is fine. I happen to like skin and bones included in the can in small amounts. My only complaint is the price is a little high. All I use this fish for is making salads to go between slices of homemade bread.No complaints or purchaser regret.

Mash with a fork to absorb the juices. Put it on the plate with the rest of your meal. It's good hot or room temperature.Unless you labor at full sweat for full workdays, you only need 10% of the daily value of sodium. Store-bought bread or cereal already gives that. Calmly evade the many cultures and subcultures and bestsellers denying diet science.Fish is also lean and low in saturated fat. Add some healthy fat to the meal, like nuts. Add no-sodium salt-alternative for flavor and healthy potassium.
