Outdoor Interiors' mission is guided by providing innovative, space-saving designs using beautiful, sustainable hardwoods along with an exciting array of mixed materials. Utilizing high quality hardwoods, our unique styles and durability will make your patio the envy of the neighborhood. Eucalyptus is one of the fastest growing dense Hardwoods prized for its strength, durability and weathering characteristics in all climates. Eucalyptus is naturally resistant to decay with handsome pinkish-brown tones and a straight, light wood grain similar to Teak. Eucalyptus will weather to a silvery finish over time unless treated 2-3 times a year with outdoor furniture oil. We recommend using a natural Linseed Oil or any Outdoor Hardwood or Teak oil for our Eucalyptus Furniture. The hardwood we use are plantation grown and very dense, with a luxurious straight grain and high oil content, similar to teak. It’s excellent for outdoor furniture because of its strength, rich appearance and durability. We also recommend using furniture covers during the winter months in harsher climate zones. Outdoor Interiors is a FSC Certified manufacturer providing only plantation grown eucalyptus from well managed forests. All hardwood follows the C.O.C. Chain of Custody for managing timber from our forests through production to our factory. From the Venetian Collection by Outdoor Interiors , this bench is made from super dense and durable Eucalyptus Hardwood, our stylish, ultra comfortable venetian arm chairs and benches feel, look and perform like teak. Comfortable curved design and the sturdy armrests make this chair an instant favorite. This chair will instantly find a home on your patio or in your garden. Easily maintained with a once annual oil treatment.

It's comfortable and was quick and easy to put together
I'd actually give it 5 stars for the money, but am trying to keep the review on an absolute basis. It's comfortable and was quick and easy to put together, using professional skills and tools. Even using the included I imagine it would be pretty easy, but the longest thing about assembly for me was finding and mixing epoxy (I used west system g flex).Instructions don't call for glue, but it's a doweled chair, which clearly will benefit from it. You can use pva glue on eucalyptus evidently, but it's worth the good epoxy. I used an m12 impact with a m4 bit, and the screws went in easily - no misaligned holes.Instructions call for boiled linseed, which I find a bit nuts (read flexner on finishing). I used starbrite teak oil as an experiment - certainly looks good, and has a exterior track record. Will be ordering 3 more

Fantastic!
I own two Venetian benches, one Venetian chair, and two end tables all produced by Outdoor Interiors. The seats are very comfortable, durable, and easy to assemble. The manufacturing quality is superb. They are made of Brazilian Eucalyptus which is dense, strong, and rot resistant. I accidentally damaged two slats this past winter and have found customer support from Outdoor Interiors beyond compare. An email from their website describing my plight was answered within hours and now I have replacement slats in the mail (without charge). Tim C. at Outdoor Interiors exemplifies what customer support should be. I have nothing but praise for this company and these benches.

Outdoor Chair
At first I was looking for a bench to put on a patio we built around our new waterfall. After looking at the bench more than once I decided on chairs instead. This would give us more fexiblity for conversation. I ordered one and when it came I was so happy with it I ordered two more. This is a well built very nice size, very comfortable chair. The seat and back has just the right curve to fit my back side. They were easy to put together they look great and I know that we will enjoy many outdoor conversations wherever we place them. I have not yet oiled them as they say to do so but I'm sure that is not going to be a problem. I also have a place to store them in side in the winter. If you are not affraid of the maintenance and storage I would recommend this good looking outdoor furniture.

Beautiful outdoor wood furniture without the plastic
Nicely built product from what I can see so far. Putting together is a breeze and the chair is sturdy. I have put 2 coats of Oil for protection and it definitely made the chair a better looking and pricey, at least according to my quest. This is a good step away from all the plastic outdoor furniture out there and I am really enjoying the entire set.

Great value for a comfortable great looking outdoor chair.
We purchased two chairs. They were simple to put together. Beautiful after a Linseed Oil treatment and very comfortable for Mr. 6'4" and a petite Mrs. 5'2".

Very nice, well made. Will be impressive on my patio.
I haven't opened all of the boxes yet, just one to see the quality and confirm finish. I was pleased with the construction quality. The finish is a bit rough - it needs final sanding and then teak oil. I was not surprised by this. The online description mentioned that it was single oiled and would need attention before going outside. Also, I'm very picky about the finishes on my wood furniture, so my opinion is a little skewed anyway.Coincidentally, I saw this same line at a local hardware store - the full line includes many other pieces. (FYI, at a substantially higher price!) I like this so well, I'm thinking of investing in a more extensive collection!Good purchase.

attractive and comfortable
I really like these chairs. They are easy to assemble and give a beautiful, sort of Mission-style look to the deck. My only complaint is that one of the chairs had a big splinter coming off of it. I also ordered a matching coffee table that had a big scratch. Since it's outdoor furniture, it's not a big deal but it is disappointing in an otherwise beautiful set.
