Being new to smoking, this BearPaw Smoking Guide is just what I needed to provide me with information on what pellets to use on specific meats for best smoked flavor along with temps, times, and even cooking suggestions. I like that it’s magnetic so I can keep it on my cooking cart right next to my grill and can easily be wiped clean if needed. I also like that it’s large at 8x5.5 which makes it easy to read. This chart was worth every penny for me.

Nice magnetic chart. Fits nicely on the pellet hopper on the smoker.*****So my question is what does the "Expert Assembly" for the low low price of $99.00 entail? Do they send someone out to help you place the chart on literally anything magnetic? Maybe help you take magnet out of the packaging? Make sure it's straight? LOL! I really want to order the expert assembly just to see what I would get out of it. For $99 they should smoke some ribs for you! Makes you go.......hmmmmmmmmm.

Nice quick guide

This magnet is a handy guide to your meat smoking needs. I like that it has temperature guides for different kinds of meat as well as the very nice matrix of which woods work best with different kinds of meat. I use it as a starting point to try different combinations of woods with great results so far. It includes an extensive list of woods, even ones I don't have access to in my area. I keep the magnet on my fridge so that I can reference it whenever I plan to smoke something new as it lists which woods are highly recommended vs. tried and approved, and not recommended. It even has a nice Caution note along the bottom of which woods you should never use to smoke any meat.This magnetic guide is a great addition to your smoking supplies and a great gift for anyone starting out with smoking meat like I was a year ago, or even if you have been doing it for a while and want ideas for additional woods to try out.

I bought the first one for my husband for our camp. He smokes and grills a lot there. Then he realized he needed one for the house, so two. The third one was part of a gift for a friend who cooks a lot of meat. I'm sure I will have to get more in the future.
