exactly the right size
I was looking for something small for soup, and mostly found gigantic bowls or mugs. Sure, I could probably use a cereal/general bowl for soup, but I like something small, as a SIDE, not as an entree. And my cereal bowls are for cereal. I love that these LOOK like soup bowls (crocks), and they are the perfect size. I used to own a set of 2 brown crock bowls. Broke the first one years ago; just broke the other one this week.Spent DAYS trying to find the right size. No, I didn't want soufflé bowls, or huge soup/stew bowls. These little guys are small enough to fit in the cabinet. They do stack, but they are kind of wonky, which is fine. At least they go inside each other a little bit.They came securely packed in a box with bubble wrap, so they were all in tact. I like them, and that size is HARD to find. Many little bowls look like fruit bowls, or are too deep. To me, this is the perfect serving size for soup. They would probably be great for French onion, but I just used mine for tomato soup!

Broken Soup Crock
I was disappointed in the size but they are heavy and I like that about them. I was also upset that one was broken to pieces and reported it but so far I have not received a message back~ I believe they should have had heavier bubble wrap the was more secure because it was very loose~ how do I get a price adjustment.

SMALL FRENCH ONION SOUPL CROCKS
These are exactly as shown and are just what is advertised. But when I received them they were just smaller than I had expected. My fault only. I should have read more carefully.
