Estriol is type of estrogen that is produced during pregnancy in large quantities in preparation for birth to help thicken tissues by increasing collagen production, it also regulates immune system (lowers it if overactive - like autoimmune diseases and raises it if underactive - to prevent getting sick). Latest research from Western Europe and Japan shows that estriol prevents UTIs and yeast infections (by thickening tissues in vagina and urethra), prevents all GYN cancers (inc. breast cancer), and prevents bone loss. I am 46, and in perimenopause. I have regular, but very short and heavy periods with symptoms of estrogen deficiency (headaches, brain fog, sleep and mood problems, hot and sweaty at night etc). I read online that it helps people plump up their face and help sagging, unfortunately it did not do it for me. Maybe, my skin is very thin and fragile and my sagging is not related to hormones, not sure why. I stopped using it on my face and started applying it on my urethra and around it, before sleep. I have interstitial cystitis and get up to urinate every 2-3 hours at night. I think the cream reduced my urinary frequency to every 3-4 hours. I also apply it behind my knees (some people claim it helps knee regeneration), and on my neck in hopes of improving appearance of aging skin (hasn't done it yet). I believe it helped my sleep a little bit (both falling asleep and staying asleep), it definitely helps prevent night sweats. I think this cream will be more and more beneficial to me once I enter menopause. I still recommend this cream to anybody who has symptoms of estrogen deficiency at any age, as well as yeast or UTI problems. I am sure everybody will have different results, since hormonal imbalances is a very complex issue. I still wouldn't use other types of estrogen (esp. estradiol) and won't recommend it, since it significantly increases risk for breast cancer and other GYN related cancers. Give it a try, and be patient, results will not be immediate, it takes a few weeks. Good luck!Update: after 2-3 months of use - all skin on my whole body became soft and supple, nothing needed moisturizing (except tops of hands and soles of feet). My face needs lighter creams now, and if I don't apply anything in the morning it doesn't look dry. On my face, it helped my fine wrinkles but not sagging of my cheeks yet. I used to apply only before sleep, recently I started applying in the mornings too because it helps clear my head (just a pea size amount).

Did not help from hot flashes. Even made them worse. And I got unpleasant side effects like mood swings, nervousness, and reduced ability to think logically. I checked this brand and found out that they also sell some homeopathic weight loss medication for $125 (as of 07/14/21) Homeopathy is a fraud and contains no active ingredients in the formula. So what they sell is just water. I can no longer trust this brand because of this.Estrogen drops from another brand that I tried previously stoped hot flashes in just a couple of days and did not affect my mental state.

This one is estrogen and it is very good on my face, hair & joints. The spring rains this year have been awful and estrogen is the only thing that actually helps the arthritis pain but I have to slather it all over my body, face and hair and of course I am retired on a limited social security retirement so it being the most reasonable priced still costs $60 every 2 weeks for 3 bottles and $120 per month. Still it beats $180 per month or more for others when my income is $800 per month.Update 01/31/22 things have gone downhill with this product. It is now gritty with bits of plastic in the mix, it wasn't before now it is. My last order was 4 bottles & 1 pump did not work. I had to order2 more bottles before payday & the pump didn't work on 2 out of 2 bottles. I am keeping them & sawing them open because I desperately need the estrogen. I believe this company is failing to properly clean & maintain it's equipment. The cream is still good & does keep the arthritis in my knees in remission. I hope they don't change this formula. MSM makes my joints hurt a lot worse hyaluronic acid seems to help the estrogen lubricate my joints.

I need to use quite a lot of this product (two pumps or more) in order to manage my sleeplessness, weight gain and other issues, and I feel like it's an issue waiting for it to absorb and dry, so I don't enjoy applying it. I need to find a new doctor and get a prescription for a hormone mix, so this is bridging the gap for me, but I'll be happy to move on.

This is my first time trying this product. I do like the way it goes on and absorbs on my skin. I use it on various parts of my body including the face. It has a pleasant scent and seems condusive to my skin. I anticipate the estrogen like ingredients will pay off.

I've used other estrogen brands. This is the 1st time using estriol & estridiol. I also use a progesterone cream to stay balanced. If I use more than the recommended amount, I can feel too much estrogen symptoms. So far so good. I might use again.

I was skeptical at first, but gave it about a week and it does work.Be patient and over time you will notice a difference.

I can tell it works as far as that goes. However, the scent is so so gross that I cannot use it. I'm ordering another brand and throwing this out.
