I wouldn't use these things to line all of my flower beds...you can definitely tell they're plastic, even from a distance. They are flexible, and about the thickness of one of the temporary flower pots you get from the garden center. They fit together easily and seem to be pretty tough. I had a sago palm stump in the middle of my front yard--I made a ring out of these things, put it around the stump, filled it in with soil, and planted flowers. These had no problem holding up to three cubic feet of garden soil. In hard soil, like the Texas black gumbo I have, these won't just slide into the ground. If you use a trowel to open a space for them, they'll slip right in.UPDATE: After about one month in the sunshine, they have faded to a sickly gray color from the original terracotta red.

This product is OK, but not great. It's not as easy to put into the ground as you'd think. It's also flimsy. But it was cheap so you get what you pay for. It does the job well enough for what I needed it to.

Looks Nice, but cheap plastic, some of the pieces arrived damaged.. the inter connections broken and as soon as try to put into ground with or without a mallot, so cheap plastic breaks

The spikes aren’t long enough when put in the ground and difficult staying locked together but overall appearance looks real

It is easy to install on the ground but a little difficult to assemble.
