Anti-Lick Strip Large - 6 pack 6" x 1.5"

I can't believe I paid $15+ for this piece of crap!! It's basically a cheap bandaid with some kind of pepper powder glued on it. Of course, none of this is described in the description of the product page. If they had, I don't think anyone would buy it. So, let's think about it (since the manufacturer obviously didn't), what happens when you glue on pepper powder to a cheap bandaid on a dog:1) Powder comes off easily like glitter and gets all over your hands as you peel it & it smells!2) Powder gets all over your furniture, rug and carpet as you pet travels around the house!3) My dog licked it off anyway because the it simply doesn't deter licking as it claims!4) Unlike some of the fabric bandaid tape, the glue on this bandaid is very cheap, so the dog doesn't even have to bite into it. It dropped of on its own in about 5 seconds after about 5 direct licks!5) After the dog licks it off he will lick his wound and because the stuff is made of some pepper powder, the would gets irritate/infected!Since my dog had a hotspot that he kept chewing on for couple of weeks, I tried everything on this site including tape, no-lick gels, shock bandaids, etc.. I must say that out of all these, THIS PRODUCT IS THE MOST REDICULOUS!!!Who comes up with this crap!?!?

I really wasn't impressed. I don't know if my dog is exceptionally hard-headed (he is a lab after all) or there just wasn't enough capsaicin to sting him but he was unfazed. Totally licked the things off every time I tried and the price was a little high for what are essentially over sized band aids

The first strip worked, but when we reapplied a few days later, my dog was already so used to the taste and scent that he just licked the fur around it until the strip fell off. I'm sure that these may work for some dogs and the only way to know if it will work for your's is to try it. Warning: WEAR A MASK OR COVER YOUR FACE when applying the strip because it will get up your nose and act like tear gas!!

I received this product when stated. Unfortunately, it did not work at all, as it would not stick on my golden retriever.

these fall off all by themselves. if it manages to stay on a few minutes, my dog licked it off.

I'm sorry, These just didn't work. My dog removed the strip and her bandage just as quickly as she ever did.

This is a great product when it is new. Pet Paradise is selling old out-dated product, so try this product but DO NOT BUY FROM PET PARADISE!!!

I was skeptical about this product when I bought it at the store and then I read the reviews and had no faith in them. My dog has a wound on her paw that she's been obsessing over for months. I tie socks onto the paw but then she started chewing through them. The instructions recommend not putting it directly on fur/skin so you don't rip any fur so I applied the anti-lick bandage to her sock to keep her from chewing through it and it works!!! She won't lick or chew the area where the bandaged-sock is!! I'm so grateful that this product works for my dog! I haven't had any problems with the powder on the bandage coming off or breathing it in. I bought this at a store and the packing says "New and Improved" so perhaps they have improved the anti-lick substance and quality so it doesn't come off. I will buy again but I want to make sure I buy the same "improved" version. This may not work for all dogs but it works for us and I'm happy with that! Good luck, everyone else!
