A must have for someone who was around for G1
The ‘84 cartoon homage paint scheme is the best touch. As a “kid” who always wanted a G1 Megatron this is a good stand in until I can claim that particular crown jewel.

G-1 was before my time, but I love this figure nonetheless.
I first came across this figure at Walmart, but I purchased the Netflix trilogy-promoting version of Megatron instead. Although that's a great figure, it's nearly impossible to stand. I'm not a G-1 Transformers nut, but I do like the color scheme this figure has, and after searching and searching for it when I missed it at Walmart, once again Amazon didn't disappoint. This figure stands nicely (even with the almost farcically large sword on its back) and feels nice and sturdy, as the first version I bought did. No complaints here.

Great transformers toy.
I was pleasantly surprised to find myself loving this toy as much as I did. Articulation may not be the best but it’s just looks amazing on my shelf.
