Flimsy, I returned them
As an owner of a single Wavebird, I wanted to buy some cheap 3rd party controllers to play with my kids wirelessly. The first controller I tried was functional (even with a Mayflash Adapter) however there was numerous problems.-The dongle was extremely snug plugging into the GC controller port. It took effort and care to plug it in, which is not ideal for an adult let alone children.-The plug on the dongle pulled out when I removed the dongle from the GC port. This is flat out unacceptable. I shouldn't have to worry about severing the wires when I need to move the controller to another system.-The buttons are all extremely clicky, they do not feel like a Gamecube controller. They feel worse than your old school Mad Katz controllers. The best way I can describe it is that there is an air pocket that snaps behind the buttons. It feels as if the molds for each of the buttons is about half the thickness, but twice the height of the original buttons. This gives the sensation of snapping a switch instead of a smooth depression of a button. (If this was the only issue, I would have tolerated it due to the price).-The controllers are fairly light weight. Again the molding seems to prioritize the thin molds instead of something more durable.I ended up returning my devices due to the dongle problem, but because of the overall cheapness throughout I cannot recommend this product. I would rather use my old school GC controllers alongside a GBros adapter and deal with the dangling dongle rather than use these controllers. For enthusiasts that want to have a Wavebird type controller for original hardware, I suggest either buying a Wavebird or looking into modding the controller yourself.

Decent Wavebird replacement
Functionally-wise, the analog sticks are pretty close to my used Wavebirds. I'd say a tad stiffer, but I'd expect that from a new product. The buttons are a bit stiffer than my Wavebirds. It doesn't bother me, but may bother some.Syncing is easy-peasy with one controller. But, becomes more problematic/a hassle as you start to use more. The controllers and the receivers don't pair, they just sync to the first available. So, who knows which will sync with which when you power on your game cube. Finally, the ones I bought did not have a rumble feature. I bought them because someone answered a question and said they did. I should have figured that the seller would list that as a feature if they actually did.

Ehh, not the best, not awful.
f you need two wireless Gamecube controllers for cheep go ahead. The joysticks are super stiff and need a lot more force than a normal Gamecube controller. The two I got will sometimes connect to the others receiver, and you have to play the "unplug and turn off controller" game to get it to connect. The weight isn't bad relative to a wave bird, most of the weight is for the AA batteries. The buttons, especially the z button are a little on the cheep side, but are still serviceable. Really if I needed to describe it in one word: mediocre. If you are a casual player that want a p1 and p2 controller that doesn't knock the Gamecube off the stand. go for it. If you are going to use this on the regular or only need one: I would spend the extra money on a good second hand wave bird. Honestly I bought it because was orange, and don't have any real regret.

These were very nostalgic
I put this in the one stars because whenever I'm looking for reviews I always check the one starts first to see what I'm getting into. These work almost exactly like my old wavebirds did the only difference is the joystick is a little bit stiffer but honestly that doesn't really make much of a difference unless I'm trying to do timed trials , you take a little bit more time to aim and I play a lot of Zelda but I've been very happy with the purchase and it is very nostalgic.

Decent
After using these controllers for about two weeks I can say that most importantly, they work. They aren't the best, but they do the job. Even at a short range they constantly disconnect. The sticks feel a bit more stiff than an original controller, but for me personally I liked that about them. If you actually want to play games then get something with a little more quality. But if you're just looking for extra controllers for a friend or younger sibling then these will work just fine.

Good but small
Works well but smaller than a normal GameCube controller. It works well for me, but probably wouldn't be a good choice for a guy with larger hands. Added picture for side-by-side comparison.

Similar but not reliable
They look like the original GameCube ones even with the colors but the joystick does not always work and the controllers only sometimes connect to their receivers (had to unplug it and plug it back in, taking out and putting in the batteries back in, etc. in the hopes they will work). BUT aside form that they are fine.

THEY DO NOT WORK. VERY DISAPPOINTING!
This product does not work. We are using it for the first time and the connection is completely intermittent. The wireless connection constantly shuts off and needs to be turned off and then back on to work even for a short while. You should really just go with the Nintendo controllers to ensure that it actually functions. Buttons also don’t consistently work and are constantly disrupting the games we play. DO NOT BUY
