Great product - We love it!
We use half helmets. Love the sound quality and noise cancellation up to 45 MPH, but then we hear some crackle of the breeze. But this HAS to be expected with half helmets. There is an easy on/off button I slap with my palm to activate and de-active the intercom at highway speeds, to minimize wind noise and only use when needed. Both units have the intercom on/off button - this works really well. I believe it has voice activation for the intercom - but I have not tried that yet. What is also nice and unexpected is that when not using intercom or music features, I can hear what is going on around me - super important for me to remain alert and to just enjoy the ride. Highly recommend!

Get communication headset
Works well to communicate with other riders. Easy set up and get value for the money. Very comfortable to wear. Very clear no background noiceThe cons - I don’t like how it automatically answers phone calls.

Good product
As an intercom this works well, and the sound is good. The only negative is the delay between the time you tap the button and the wait for the tone before you are connected. At highway speeds i never hear the phone ringing so I don't know if I'm getting a call. But then maybe I really don't wanna be bothered while I'm riding so that's not really so bad.Listening to music from your phone by Bluetooth is by far the best feature. Easy to connect and easy to use the controls and the sound quality is good. The FM radio works ok it's just a little difficult to hit your preset stations every time.Overall I would recommend this product, we've used it on two long trips so far and its been worth the money for us.

Sena Is A Superior Headset for Half Helmets
The Sena Bluetooth Headsets and Intercom are fantastic. Wind noise even with the half helmet is negligible. The Sena controls are instinctive and very easy to use. I paired two headsets, a Tom Tom GPS, and a SamSung phone in minutes and without an issue. The only problem occured after an initial days use. My spouse's headset would not charge and would not turn on after what should have been sufficient time to fully recharge. I read directions in the manual and performed a "hard" reset using a paperclip tip. The headset immediately came back to life and did not require relinking with my headset. Since that initial reset, it has charged and performed without issues.I was reluctant to purchase the Sena because I had been a Cardio user. The Sena is superior in every way other than distance between intercoms. The Sena is completely line of sight and only reaches about 800-900 yards max. My old Cardio would work close in on hills and curves and in line of site would go out at least a mile.Having said that, The Sena is easier to set up, easier to use, Controls can be operated wearing gloves. Even the FM tuner works well.

The Velcro required to attach inside helmet lining is not sufficiently long or strong enough.
I like the ability to use as an intercom and with Bluetooth capacity.

Wonderful intercom headset
Have now used them for several months and they work great. Easy to set up and use. The only things that can be worked on, is the noise cancellation. Works best if you keep the mic as close to your mouth as you can, but still hear road and wind noise. I still think they are one of the best half helmet headsets in the market. Highly recommend.

The idea is better than the execution
I was excited to find this setup and bought two. After installing, took a ride and found the speakers ineffective when in motion. The speakers are about an inch away from your ears and the wind flows in-between. With the volume cranked up all the way, the volume doesn't overcome the wind noise and the audio was clipping so in all, anything being received at speeds more than about 15mph are totally unintelligible. Add to this the lack of noise cancelling on the microphone, which compounds the problem. Wearing earplugs to cut wind and road noise only compounds the unintelligibility issue further.I bought aftermarket windscreen accessories to shield the mic and they were only marginally effective. The Sena module used for this system is incompatible with the other '10' series equipment. It is only compatible with the '5' series mounts, which I tried in order to get a better speaker fit on my wife's half-helmet. That setup is also poor because there is no anchored attachment for a mic boom and just stuffing the boom base between the eps and liner is not sufficient it keep it anchored while riding. Another annoying discovery was that there is no earbud compatible optional mount for the '5' series, so that means the module used in this kit.My recommendation is to avoid this product all together and instead, try a Sena SMH10 that uses a real '10' series module housing and mount it with the earbud compatible adapter with the attached boom mic. I bought it from Amazon along with fuze molded in the ear speakers. That concurrently reduced wind noise, reduced the volume necessary to hear over the road noise and provided a flexible setup where I don't have to have this ugly telephone operator look when I'm not using an intercom on a solo ride.

Must have for touring in a group !
Just back from a 3800km trip using the headsets. Great piece of technology. There were 5 riders and 4 with headsets.Once we figured out the connecting part all was good. Battery life was good - we kept them on/live at all times and I would estimate 5 hrs of life. We did have an issue with one of the riders sending out noise like rain hitting a tin roof - not sure what was causing it. He did have a low profile windshield and we tried to eliminate the noise but had no luck. It didn't cause too much trouble - more annoying then anything. We did put larger windsocks over the microphones to cut down on some of the wind noise. When using with just 1 other rider they were flawless but it seems that when you add others the background noise increases. The range is pretty good - I would estimate maybe 1/2 a KM and mostly line of sight. We rode in some heavy rain and I did notice one of my ear pieces did crap out from time to time - but other than that all was good. Only drawback I see is the 4 headset max - would be nice to be able to add more.

TWO THUMBS UP !! VERY IMPRESSIVE !!
W.O.W !!! ...three letters that resume my satisfaction !! I didn't had time to go through all the options, but I tried the phone & music and I am so impressed !! The person at the other end of the phone just couldn't believe I was really riding my bike at that time, and the music is so crystal clear, I would recommand the SPH10H-FM to anyone who is looking for a reliable telecom system. I give it 5 stars !! ;-)
