Metal heatsink is functional, with a thermal pad included inside to wick heat from your M.2 SSD. The main body and latch mechanism is made from plastic but I've no concerns at all regarding quality. The plastic appears to be used in the right places for the price point without compromising functionality.20cm USB-C to USB-C cable is included (but no USB-A adapter, so just a heads up).Really simple but good design that allows for really easy opening and closing without tools. It's really convenient if you want to swap out the SSD (like I was looking for).This is capable of accepting multiple formats of M.2 ssd as well as multiple lengths. The SSD is secured with a plastic turn-tab, maintaining the toolless approach to this design

Really good and easy to use! Great value and keeps the hard drive safe inside its sturdy case. The whole device is tiny but adequate in size.

This enclosure seems to be very well designed and constructed. It has a metal top cover which works well as a heatsink as it has a heat conducting pad on the inside which contacts the SSD. You press a button on the end and then the cover is hinged and just lifts up. The SSD is retained by a rotating lever, so there is no screw to lose. It comes with a short USB C cable, so it works out of the box.I can't find anything to criticise with this enclosure, but then Sabrent are a decent brand, so that is to be expected. I would recommend this enclosure as it is useful not only when transferring data when moving to a larger SSD, but you can use the SSD as a removable storage as well.

The device works well but the 2280 card retaining turnbuckle does not work for Micron or WD cards which are 2mm thick. Can only accommodate 1.5 mm cards. Had to remove turnbuckle and use blutack!

Superb build quality and ease of use. Included a type c cable so did not need to buy one. Originally bought this to transfer some important data from my dead laptop to my new one. Popped in the old ssd, and was able to extract everything I needed. Additionally, now the old m.2 ssd doubles as an external storage device rather than rotting in my old laptop. No tools required at all.Quite compact and good value for money.

This works very well as it should and I was able to plug it into my laptop and back up the data.It was very easy to install with no tools required and felt very robust and secure. I can highly recommend it.

Bought as quite a few decent reviews.Speed was sufficient as didn’t need the 40Gbps.Feels quite solid and love the tool free design. Cable quite short but works ok.Doesn’t get that hot either. Rock solid, fast and flexible for storage options. Works a dream.
