This may be due to the one bad sensor, maybe affecting the performance of the other ...
I can only base my review off the product I received, which unfortunately was defective. One of the 3 sensors was not working right out of the box so motion and tracking was only working for the right and center but not left, leaving a huge gap in coverage. The tracking was also quite slow both in how fast the light head moves and how quickly you are detected from zone to zone. This may be due to the one bad sensor, maybe affecting the performance of the other two. I cannot say for sure. My boss has an older version of this that is not wifi. It tracks you quickly, fast enough that when I first saw it I thought someone was operating it from a PC. That is another gripe I have about this. I saw no reference to software to access this from your PC. Seems only Android or Apple devices. Also while you can view the camera and its recordings on your mobile device you cannot move it. What use is it to view live if the camera happens to be pointed at zone 3 and you want to see if anything is going on in zone 1. You can turn the light on and off from the app so that is kind of cool. For $300 the lack of control options just do not measure up. Give the ability to move camera by app between zones and then you have something useful. I have already initiated a return on this unit since it has the defective sensor. I will order another and hope the tracking feature works correctly.

Very little false recordings
I would need to read the other reviews to see why people do not like it, but I tried it.I believe it's called the "Versonel" app on Google Play. Setup is easy. Now, be careful if you use MAC filtering on your router, that will get you like it did me. That's the only difficult part of the setup is getting the MAC after the unit joins on your router. If you are using no MAC filtering, the setup should be easy. Now, the title is "Very little false recordings", this is a can say. What I have noticed, if this unit records, someone was there, could have been maybe 25 feet away (not sure what the specs are on this). I have read reviews before I got this, I had a different Wi-Fi unit. The problem with the old one was, The old unit recorded almost any movement - just the wind.True, if someone walks by quickly, you get the sensor confused and the recording does not work the way you want. Now, I had a different brand before. Versonel Nightwatcher vs. my old one, it's night and day. The old one did not move at all, so at least with this, you get the chance of actually recording something. It's very difficult with sensors and recording in general. Constant recording is better; however, for the unit as it is, I am pleased.

Over garage security
Its a nice unit, but it could be improved software-wise. A few things I would have liked to see:Firmware: Allow for the motion sensor range to be adjusted. I have it installed over my garage and the motion sensor trips for vehicles out on the street, some 30 feet away. I wish there was a way to set depth ranges so it would only work within the depth of my property. Another nice capability if it could be added would be to allow anyone viewing the live screen from their app to be able to pivot the camera instead of the sensor doing it. Right now all you can do is turn the lights on/off remotely.Software: It would be nice if the playback feature, which allows you to delete MP4 recordings that you don't want to keep could do that for more than 1 recording at a time. Right now you have to pick each recording, delete it, and go back in to delete the next one, etc.As far as hardware goes, I'll have to wait and see how it survives a winter rainy seaon. Also, its a shame that you cannot pivot the angle for the lights even though the design looks like the lights are mounted to the top in a way that can be moved. Only the camera angle can be manually adjusted.Aside from those few items we like the sense of security it provides.

Pretty good product
This is a reasonably good product. However, the instructions were clearly not written by a native English speaker and this makes setup go slower than it should, but after spending some time we managed to set this up and have it working. Both the camera and the light can be manually aimed down - something which is not clearly explained on the instructions - this took a while to figure out because we didn't want to damage the mechanism doing this manually but eventually it became clear this was the only way to do it. The motion tracking is uneven and finicky - sometimes the unit follows the motion (always with some delay) and sometimes it doesn't. No idea why. The image is pretty good and the led lights are plenty bright. It sends a notification to a smartphone when the unit has been triggered, which is nice, though it is a bit confusing to set up (and you don't need to set this up if you don't want it..the unit still functions.) Due to the finicky tracking, we are considering putting it in "static" mode because then it would always be aimed straight out instead of getting stuck to the left or right.Overall, it gives a feeling of added security and it's nice to know it's there, observing.
