Excellent quality, bright and good color
These dots are excellent, the brightness and color are as good as any other neopixel display I have including the original Adafruit ones and they are better than any of the clones.I am looking forward to using them in projects where I have been using 8-pixel strips but only needed one pixel. They are far superior to using discrete diodes since these do their own power regulation, they’re variable brightness and they support a large number of colors. Neopixel’s accept true-color but most values result in the same color. The pad spacing is slightly smaller than Dupont pins but the pins can be used. I cut a set of 3 right-angle pins and solder the short side using diy helping hands.I tested them with an esp32-c3 and found I cannot have more than two neopixel objects, there are run-time errors that I’ve never seen before when the 3rd one is written by the code. The solution is to daisy chain them instead of declaring a separate object for each, I simply used the same digital output to control two of them in parallel in my test along side an 8-pixel strip..When you snap them off the grid they’re shipped in they feel like something is going to break, they don’t but it does take a lot of force to get them free. A little better perforation between them would be welcome.

Very good choice of lights
VERY bright, surprised with how well they work, very nice range of color and easy to solder together

Great for 3D printer builds.
Worked perfectly for my xol toolhead on my new voron trident build.

Used on a 3d printer
**Update** 5 stars. Using these on all my printers. After much effort and time I finally was able to get these to work on my printer. I only wanted two of them near the nozzle and to light up according to the events as outlines in Marlin code. What I discovered is that these lights are configured as #define NEOPIXEL_TYPE NEO_GRB and are in fact VERY picky about the qaulity of wire used. You will only get a blue light if you do not use good quality 18gauge wire. I truly like these lights and they are very bright. When only using one or two you can get by without using a capacitor and resistor. I think the load will be too much (without cap/resistor) after two lights and may be damaging to the board.

Test first
Exactly what I needed for the project but I failed to test first. Found 5 of the 100 had a short between power and ground but not after I included one in my first design. 5% failure seems a bit high. The rest work perfectly, using them with FastLED Arduino project.

Perfect RGB LED's for DIY projects
These wonderful, 1-wire controllable, full color LED's are a modern way to illuminate your DIY projects. In the good 'ol days we'd use a 4-leaded 5mm RGB LED that needed 3 pins on your microcontroller (Arduino) and potentially intermediate buffer/drivers. Now you can use 1 pin to control as many of these WS2812 as you need. No buffer/drivers needed.Perfect for color changing backlights or indicators. The size is excellent, too, since the LED itself is about 5x5mm and the PCB is about 10mm.

Excellent Value & Performed Exactly As Expected
These are all I was hoping they might be, specifically:○ Work with the official NeoPixel library○ Have any other components need pre-soldered to the boards○ Easy to solder leads onto the pre-tinned pads (use a fine tip and a second hands device)○ Very bright!Details that did not matter to me, but might matter to someone:○ The holes indicated for sewing the components to fabric are very small; one might experience some difficulty atempting to do so○ These are RGB only - there is no independent white light emitting hardware as in some of the newer NeoPixel components (you can still make white by the usual RGB in equal amounts method)I use these with an Arduino Nano, and they work well using the +5V pin, or an external power source (as log as you keep the voltage in the specified range, naturally).

Have It Your Way
Very well done.I knew this when I bought them, but I just so that everyone understands - these aren't electrically connected to each other, these are all discrete PCBAs that haven't been separated. They absolutely can be left together and wired in a 'daisy chain' - with a lot of little wires between them (fine work definitely, not impossible). Or they can, of course, be broken apart as required.
