he is great on the battle scene..weak in the booth
Listen to it yourself. Jesus. WTH? His choruses are extremely weak. His lyrics are so horrible. How can this happen when in the battle scene, dude seems like one of the best. This is sad. especially the song he tries to copy an old school song with his terrible song "Shotgun". its so sad. Why didn't his producer tell him to stop? Why was this released? I bought this cause I support independent hip hop. I promise you I will never buy a CD from Iron Solomon. This CD is straight garbage. Iron Solomon- stick to battling. You really suck at making albums. Please. his lyrics are so simplistic and so bad...even the rappers from the south would laugh at him.

Nothing like it.
I'm not really interested in rap, but when I heard about Iron Solomon and his intelligent, self-reflective, personal yet universal interpretation of life, I had to check it out. I was not disappointed. This "monster" touches my soul and his musicality is tasteful and diverse. He has worked with real professionals and has obviously taken great care in creating this final product.

Fantastic music!
The music is really extraordinary. Since I bought this album last week, I can't stop listening. It's great when you focus on the words, but I love it as much when I just concentrate on the non-verbal, vocal and instrumental sounds. CONGRATS, Iron Solomon. Your album is well worth waiting for!

A very professional piece of work here. Well rounded art. Though it has HipHop influence it transcends genre specifics. And the in-house production is beautifully executed.

Nice debut, the length is the main hindrance
This a pretty good debut from Iron Solomon with old school production, nice lyrics, and a good bit of substance. The main negative on this one is the length as the bonus tracks just makes it redundant. Each track has production credits from Iron Solomon himself (and others on some), delivering a mix of light melodies and old school drums. The production is a little lacking as there no bangers, but the tracks blend well into each other. Iron Solomon performs well, with a very on point flow, multi-syllable rhyme scheme and in-depth lyrics. Although his flow is excellent, his voice and delivery is obviously white and there isn't much variation. Add that with the amount of tracks and it becomes a little mundane as the album plays. Nice debut, the length is the main hindrance.
