Interpreting The Symbols and Types

It's the material in the book I enjoy, I'm not really concerned whether its hardbacked, paper backed, I'm happy with the purchase

It appears I bought this book in 2012, and I am just now discovering it. Oh my, it is everything I have spent years looking for. No fluff, no unnecessary or biased information, just straight up about the symbols and types with the scripture references. I cannot recommend this book highly enough. Buy it, use it, and let the scriptures be opened into you!!!

Great study book and accompanying text for bible study. Took a class for The Bible Institute. Extremely enlightening!! It gives the reader a deeper, and gratifying understand of the text. Once your able to interpret the text it creates stronger spirirual development, and passion for the WORD!!!! Suggest any who are curious or perplexed about animals, numbers, or signs in the bible should purchase for clarity and perspective.

This book is a solid starting point for the serious student. It does give basic scriptures as a reference point for alot of the symbols. Main understanding will come from The Holy Spirit.Hbr 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,Hbr 6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.Hbr 6:3 And this will we do, if God permit.

THREE STARS THOUGH ONLY ONE SHOWS. This book is a quick reference, not very comprehensive reading. It is charts with a limited commentary for interpretation. It is A reference of symbols, and catagorizing, more than teaching. Most incidences in the old testament are also related to salvation and Christ. One example of what I am referring to is the Symbol: "Door of Tabernacle," Mr. Conner's interpretation is: Place of entrance or exit, enter in or out. Christ our entrance to God." He says the same thing about the pillar of fire and cloud. It is skeletal, so if that is what you are looking for, just a general overview, without too much teaching and no application, this is it, symbols defined with little commentary.

GRRRREAT!!!!!! Exactly what I was looking for and I truly wish I would have ran into this book years ago. Great tool, easy to read, well explained and easy to follow. I look forward to purchasing more books from this author sooner than later. Truly grateful to have it as an addition to my library. Great worth of knowledge :)

Love everything this author writes. I purchased this as a replacement because I loaned my first copy out and could not remember who has it. Definately add this to your library if you are a Bible student!

This is a great resource tool for Bible teachers. I know of no other author as sound in typology than Kevin J Conner.The value this gives to teaching messages is as follows:--Brings more clarity to a point or principle you may be teaching--Shows the hidden Bible gems to the congregation--Shows that little things are part of a much bigger strategy--Creates simple pictures for the congregation on what can be complex ideasI refrained from a 5 star because some types interpretations are wrong.

A great tool to keep through ages to help with discerning the signs, symbols and wonders in your life.

There are other books on the subject but this is quite adequate for the average reader to dip into as required.

Since becoming a Christian... I've noticed there are a lot of symbols and also number meanings, which I need to understand, and this book and others have helped me...
